CNN has found their latest weapon in their crusade to destroy Donald Trump.
But it backfired big time.
And now CNN is in danger of permanent ruin because of what just happened on the air.
CNN is not learning their lesson.
Last year, the Network gave Michel Avenatti over 100 guest appearances in order to promote his lawsuit on behalf of Stormy Daniels.
That decision blew up in CNN’s collective face when Avenatti was arrested on fraud charges that could land him in jail for over 300 years.
CNN is repeating this error now by trying to make E. Jean Carroll a thing.
Carroll wrote an outrageous and highly suspicious account of Trump raping her in a Manhattan department store in the mid 1990s.
The story has not gained much traction because Carroll’s account is not credible and her behavior in media interviews borders on bizarre.
She’s refused to report the alleged rape to the police because she claims it would distract from the rape culture at Donald Trump’s detention centers along the southern border.
And in a recent interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Carroll again humiliated CNN by telling Cooper that what Trump allegedly did to her was not rape and that most Americans find rape “sexy” because of the “fantasies” involved.
“Sexual violence is in every country in every strata of society, and I just feel that so many women are undergoing sexual violence,” Carroll explained. “Mine was short. I got out. I’m happy now. I’m moving on. And I think of all the women who are enduring constant sexual violence. So this one incident, this one, what, three minutes in this little dressing room, I just say it’s a fight. That way I’m not the victim, right? I’m not the victim.”
“You don’t feel like a victim?” Cooper replied.
“I was not thrown on the ground and ravished, which the word rape carries so many sexual connotations,” she said. “This was not sexual. It just – it hurt.”
“I think most people think of rape as a violent assault,” Cooper said.
“I think most people think of rape as being sexy – think of the fantasies,” she added.
The segment was so awkward that Anderson Cooper quickly cut to a commercial break after she finished her answer.
Many Americans believe CNN is exploiting Carroll — whom they believe is not in a proper frame of mind — to try to destroy Donald Trump.
But with each interview she gives, Carroll looks more and more like an unbalanced individual looking to make a profit on book sales.
And CNN is torching what little credibility they have left by giving her air time.
We will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
CNN was just forced to admit a fact that destroys their biggest anti-Trump narrative
Since the day President Trump came down that escalator in Trump Tower, CNN has been his biggest enemy.
They spend every moment of their coverage attacking him.
But in a rare twist, CNN was just forced to admit a fact that destroys their biggest anti-Trump narrative.
During a discussion between CNN’s Jake Tapper and Democrat Rep. Joe Kennedy (MA), the topic of Hunter Biden came up.
And in a surprising change of pace, Tapper outright admitted exactly what Trump supporters have been saying since the beginning of the baseless impeachment hearings.
He stated that “it does stink” that Biden got his job at the Ukrainian energy company Burisma with no expertise, lending credence to the legitimacy of an investigation into corruption on behalf of Joe Biden to get him that job.
Transcript from CNN’s State of the Union:
JAKE TAPPER: It’s true that there’s no evidence of any wrongdoing by Vice President Biden or that Hunter Biden broke any laws at all. But frankly, it does stink that Hunter Biden got this contract with no expertise in the energy sector and likely — he already said basically that he probably got that money, which was significant, because of his connection with his father, the vice president of the time, who was also in charge of Ukraine at the time. Do you think future presidents and vice presidents should say my relatives cannot cash in, in any way, on their connection to me?
REP. JOE KENNEDY (D-MA): Look, I think it is certainly worth putting that out there and worth trying to make sure that there is not any sort of profit that is going to be earned by close relatives in office. I’ve had plenty of family members in office. I understand the responsibility that comes with holding a position of public responsibility and ensuring that there is a very clear delineation there so there isn’t those profiting off it.
While Tapper does make sure to leave in a little bit of fake news, by stating that “there’s no evidence of any wrongdoing” by Biden, he does at least acknowledge that the situation wasn’t completely cut and dry.
The fact that Hunter Biden got that job with no experience creates the possibility of corruption from his father, considering he had a lot of influence on Ukrainian policy.
Do you think Joe Biden should be investigated for corruption?
