State-run media commissar made one comment about America that will send a chill down your spine

Published

on

The Democrat Party is now being steered by rabid leftists.

They are running away from reality at breakneck speed.

And a state-run media commissar made one comment about America that will send a chill down your spine.

NPR is in the process of imploding.

Uri Berliner, a 25-year veteran of the outlet, started a chain reaction when he wrote an op-ed for The Free Press that detailed NPR’s rank left-wing bias.

In response to Berliner’s piece, NPR CEO Katherine Maher defended the outlet but did not address a single one of his points.

Berliner was then suspended for a week because he allegedly violated some trivial company policy.

Instead of enduring the humiliation, Berliner resigned.

Berliner out

In his letter, he wrote, “I am resigning from NPR, a great American institution where I have worked for 25 years. I respect the integrity of my colleagues and wish for NPR to thrive and do important journalism. But I cannot work in a newsroom where I am disparaged by a new CEO whose divisive views confirm the very problems at NPR I cite in my Free Press essay.”

In light of Berliner’s op-ed, Maher has been put under the microscope, and her past comments are truly shocking.

Revolutionary in charge

For example, Maher wrote on Twitter during the George Floyd riots, “I mean, sure, looting is counterproductive. But it’s hard to be mad about protests not prioritizing the private property of a system of oppression founded on treating people’s ancestors as private property.”

In addition to making a case for looting, she denounced capitalism.

Maher wrote, “I’m so done with late-stage capitalism.”

As Berliner pointed out, NPR has become a haven for leftists speaking to one another in an echo chamber.

In Maher’s world, ripping on capitalism and the American system altogether is commonplace, even laudatory.

Radical leftists hate America, and they say so openly.

This has become the ethos of NPR.

After Berliner’s resignation, NPR reported that “Berliner’s critique has inspired anger and dismay within the network. Some colleagues said they could no longer trust him after he chose to publicize such concerns rather than pursue them as part of ongoing newsroom debates, as is customary. . .Yet some colleagues privately said Berliner’s critique carried some truth.”

The proof is in the pudding.

Berliner is out, and Maher has been exposed as a left-wing loon.

Nancy Pelosi short-circuited on MSNBC when she was hit with one fact

Published

on

By

Democrats expect red-carpet treatment when they go on corporate news outlets.

They lose their cool when they get even the slightest pushback.

And Nancy Pelosi short-circuited on MSNBC when she was hit with one fact.

Things are not going well for Joe Biden and the Democrats’ election hopes.

Polls show him consistently behind Donald Trump despite bogus lawfare and endless negative press by the Democrat-controlled Media.

In an attempt to stop the bleeding, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) appeared on MSNBC with host Katy Tur to stump for Biden.

Bidenomics is a total bust

Pelosi tried to hard-sell Biden’s economic record because polls show that voters trust Trump on the economy by 20 points.

Pelosi said that Biden “created 9 million jobs in his term in office. Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of any president. So we just have to make sure people know.”

Tur interrupted Pelosi’s propaganda by pointing out that “there was a global pandemic” the last year of Trump’s presidency, meaning most of the “jobs created” were existing ones that were destroyed by the heavy hand of Big Government during COVID.

Pelosi’s brain momentarily broke when she received gentle pushback from Tur.

She repeated her talking point and said that “he had the worst record of any president. We’ve had other concerns in our country.”

Pelosi then shocked the audience by accusing Tur of being a Trump “apologist.”

The Congresswoman barked, “If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ain’t mine.”

Tur replied, “I don’t think anyone can accuse me of that.”

Truth hurts

The idea that Tur is a Trump “apologist” is laughable.

This is not the first time she has been slammed by the “woke” Left for daring to allow truth to wriggle into the broadcast.

Tur was lambasted by Democrats for bringing up that Biden’s advanced age was a concern.

Virtually every poll shows that Biden’s age is a top concern for Americans.

According to a recent New York Times and Siena College poll, 73% of all registered voters cited Biden as too old to be in the White House.

Even Hillary Clinton conceded that Biden’s age was “an issue.”

So it shouldn’t be a surprise that even Leftists in the media are talking about it.

But the Democrats cannot let anyone disrupt the narrative.

As for Trump’s jobs record, as Tur mentioned, the lockdowns were at fault.

Even more galling about Pelosi’s argument was that the lockdowns were primarily in blue states.

So Democrats locked down, then wanted to blame Trump for the economy tanking.

When Biden came into office, he tried to use OSHA regulations to mandate companies with 50 or more employees force their employees to get the COVID shot.

The idea that Biden’s policies have led to massive job creation is absurd.

Everybody understands what’s going on, which is why Democrats have failed to get any traction with “Bidenomics.”

CNN host got shown the door after just one disastrous show torpedoed her career

Published

on

By

CNN is in perpetual free fall.

The network has not recovered after going all-in on being the Orange Man Bad channel.

And a CNN host got shown the door after one disastrous show.

CNN This Morning turned out to be an utter disaster for the network.

Before the plug was pulled on the show, it averaged 322,000 total viewers, far behind MSNBC’s Morning Joe with 988,000, and Fox News’ Fox & Friends at 1.07 million.

Show implosion

First, Don Lemon was fired from the network after several embarrassing on-air moments.

And then, Kaitlan Collins was able to wrangle a primetime show.

Now Poppy Harlow, the third co-host of CNN This Morning, is no longer at the network.

She wrote in a farewell letter, “I got to experience what makes this country great. I sat with people in their best moments and in their hardest. They taught me about the human condition and what binds us. Whether it was covering the impact of the financial crisis from Wall Street to Detroit, or spending time with young women in jail in East Tennessee or on Rikers Island, or listening to grieving parents who lost their children to the opioid crisis in Ohio, or the repeated heartbreak of mass shootings, it is the human side of the story that has always moved me, motivated me, and made me appreciate this work so much.”

Harlow worked at CNN from 2008 to 2024, so she saw the network shift from left-of-center to completely Trump-deranged in record speed.

New CNN boss Mark Thompson said in a statement to Vanity Fair, “Poppy is a unique talent who combines formidable reporting and interviewing prowess with a human touch that audiences have always responded to. . .She’s been a wonderful colleague at CNN, and we know she will have much success in her future endeavors.”

Life after CNN

Harlow said that for now, her “plan is to walk our children to school and pick them up (hopefully they won’t get sick of me!), and to support the evolution of journalism in every way I can, while preserving the human(ity) in it.”

It will be interesting to see if Harlow can land any traction as an independent media personality.

Her departure isn’t just another name on the growing list of CNN This Morning hosts to be shown the door.

She joins a long list of other media personalities mixing up their career paths in recent years.

Thus far, not many corporate journalists have been able to successfully make the switch.

Lemon’s Twitter show has been an utter embarrassment thus far.

It’s still recovering from an epic failure to launch after Elon Musk was his first guest.

And Keith Olbermann remains completely unhinged after sinking his career at three different networks: CNN, ESPN, and MSNBC.

Olbermann has been reduced to meltdowns on X and being easily triggered by conservative personalities on the platform.

Kamala Harris sat for one interview too cringeworthy to watch to the end

Published

on

By

Joe Biden has become a laughingstock.

Kamala Harris is somehow worse.

And Harris sat for one interview too cringeworthy to watch to the end.

Kamala Harris has become Vice President Selina Meyer from the satirical HBO series Veep.

The show features actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a shallow and incompetent Vice President determined to force her into the White House despite her often-hilarious clumsy character flaws.

And just like the fictitious Vice President on the show, Harris’ embarrassing moments just keep stacking up in unbelievable fashion.

However, truth really is stranger than fiction in this case.

Harris repackaged

In a recent interview with former actress Drew Barrymore, Harris sat for a bizarre interview where Barrymore held her hand and asked her to be “Mamala,” as in mama of the United States.

Barrymore said that “I keep thinking in my head that we all need a mom. I’ve been thinking that we really all need a tremendous hug in the world right now, but in our country, we need you to be Mamala of the country.”

Harris put on an “aww, shucks” routine and said, “I know. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah, no.”

Barrymore continued, “And as a woman who respects so much and wants to share and wants to be confident and has no ounce of meat that has competitiveness. When we lift each other up, we all rise.”

Harris responded, “That’s exactly right. That’s right, that’s right.”

Kudos to anyone who can watch until the end without spitting out their coffee.

The idea that Harris would be some maternal figure for the country is just as laughable as it is unbelievable.

Heartless Harris

First, Harris has no children of her own, and her career has shown her to be an opportunistic climber, not a warm figure.

The Washington Post stealth-edited a piece to remove a cold-hearted joke Harris told about California prisoners.

The removed anecdote read, “‘It’s a treat that a prisoner gets when they ask for, “A morsel of food please,”’ Kamala said shoving her hands forward as if clutching a metal plate, her voice now trembling like an old British man locked in a Dickensian jail cell. ‘“And water! I just want wahtahhh . . .” Your standards really go out the f—ing window.’ Kamala burst into laughter.”

That sure sounds like the “Mamala” the women in the audience were clapping for.

This is the same Kamala Harris who viciously prosecuted Californians over small amounts of marijuana possession, despite hypocritically bragging about smoking the reefer herself in college.

Harris’ hypocrisy led to her presidential hopes going up in smoke quicker than a joint at a Snoop Dogg concert.

During the 2020 primary, Harris was wrecked by Gabbard on the debate stage, and her campaign never recovered.

Democrat-controlled media outlets are desperate to make Harris a superstar, but the people simply are not buying it.
