The New York Times justified the Deep State’s attacks on Trump with one enraging column

Published

on

The mask is off Permanent Washington.

It is very clear how the establishment has gone to great lengths to take down Donald Trump.

And The New York Times justified the Deep State’s attacks on Trump with one enraging column.

Conservative political writer Michael Anton coined a concept called the Law of Salutary Contradiction, which describes the Left perfectly.

The law follows: “That’s not happening and it’s good that it is.”

For example, the Democrats and their media allies claimed that there were no explicit LGBTQ+ books in middle schools, but these books are also good because they teach acceptance and tolerance.

The deep state does not exist, and it’s good that it does

The same thing applies to the deep state, a loose configuration of unelected bureaucrats in the administrative apparatus and the intelligence community.

When Donald Trump assailed the deep state, the establishment said that the deep state did not exist, and Trump was speaking conspiracy theory nonsense.

During a 2019 conference, former acting CIA director John McLaughlin told the crowd, “Thank God for the Deep State,” which drew raucous cheers.

He added, “Everyone here has seen this progression of diplomats and intelligence officers and White House people trooping up to Capitol Hill right now and these are people doing their duty and responding to a higher call.”

Now The New York Times is openly celebrating the deep state with a piece titled: “It Turns Out the ‘Deep State’ Is Actually Kind of Awesome.”

So the deep state does not exist, and thank God that it does.

The Times wrote, “As we met the Americans who are being dismissed as public enemies, we discovered that they are … us. They like Taylor Swift. They dance bachata. They go to bed at night watching ‘Star Trek’ reruns. They go to work and do their jobs: saving us from Armageddon.”

Swifties like us

The intelligence community has assets that leak damaging information about Trump—or anyone who gets in the way of the establishment—like Taylor Swift.

That’s the important takeaway, according to The Times.

The piece was written to build a case against Trump firing administrative state employees determined to undermine his agenda.

The Times added that “if Donald Trump is re-elected and enacts Schedule F, that could change. He would have the power to eviscerate the so-called deep state and replace our public servants with people who work for him, not us.”

But people in the executive branch work for the President of the United States, who is elected by “us.”

“We” do not get to elect who runs the deep state, and if they refuse to do what the President was elected to do, they should be gone.

Democrats would blow a gasket if members of the deep state were intentionally slow-walking Joe Biden’s agenda and bragging about it.

Karine Jean-Pierre had no good answer when asked about one truly bizarre Biden story

Published

By

Joe Biden is prone to tell whoppers.

The Democrat-controlled media simply shrug them off.

And Karine Jean-Pierre had no good answer when asked about one insane Biden story.

When Donald Trump was in office, The Washington Post and other outlets fact-checked every single sentence he uttered.

However, Joe Biden has largely been given a pass for his nonsensical statements, half-truths, and flat-out lies.

Biden recently told a bizarre story about his uncle being eaten by cannibals in the war.

Storytime with Joe

Biden said, “Ambrose Finnegan — we called him ‘Uncle Bosie’ — he — he was shot down. He was Army Air Corps before there was an Air Force.  He flew single-engine planes, reconnaissance flights over New Guinea. He had volunteered because someone couldn’t make it.  He got shot down in an area where there were a lot of cannibals in New Guinea at the time. They never recovered his body.  But the government went back, when I went down there, and they checked and found some parts of the plane and the like.”

Worse yet, he awkwardly linked the story to a bogus Atlantic article about Trump.

Biden continued, “And what I was thinking about when I was standing there was when Trump refused to go up to the memorial for veterans in Paris, and he said they were a bunch of ‘suckers’ and ‘losers.’ To me, that is such a disqualifying assertion made by a president — ‘suckers’ and ‘losers.’  The guys who saved civilization in the 1940s — ‘suckers’ and ‘losers.’”

First, it has been well-documented that Trump did not visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery because of weather deemed too dangerous to fly by helicopter.

And the “suckers” and “losers” comments were based on anonymous sourcing that has been countered on the record by people who were there.

After the “cannibal” comment, the White House Press Secretary joked back and forth with the press so as not to answer questions about the veracity of Biden’s statement.

A reporter asked during a briefing, “Can we see the ‘cannibal’ tab in your book?”

The room laughed as Jean-Pierre responded, “There is no ‘cannibal’ tab. What are you talking about?  Is that what you — is that what you’re asking me about?”

Jean-Pierre’s new attitude

The very next day, she took a completely different posture.

She said that the cannibal story was no laughing matter.

Jean-Pierre chided the room and explained, “He lost his life. . .[Biden] he takes this very seriously.  His uncle, who served and protected this country, lost his life serving. And that should matter.”

She also repeated the “suckers” and “losers” myth.

The Biden administration later clarified that “Uncle Bosie” was not eaten by cannibals.

This story is the latest in a long line that suggests Biden is losing his mental faculties.

Joy Behar of The View spouted one unhinged analysis of Trump

Published

By

Donald Trump is the most scrutinized man in the world right now.

Corporate-controlled media outlets are following his every move.

And Joy Behar of The View spouted one unhinged analysis of Trump.

Donald Trump’s hush money trial has begun, which means that the Democrats and their media allies are treating it like the Super Bowl.

In reality, even left-wing legal scholars admit that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case is comically weak, but the press has to pretend that he has a straight flush.

Hiding the trial

Adding to the absurdity of the case is the fact that the trial is not being televised.

Audio recordings are not even allowed.

That means the Democrat-controlled media get to shape the arc of the trial however they want.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman claimed that Trump dozed off during proceedings, and Joy Behar of The View used this morsel of information to psychoanalyze Trump from her cozy production studio.

Dr. Behar

Behar said, “Well, the sleeping part is, you know, I mean, between breaking the laws, posing for mugshots, selling bibles, the man is exhausted. But, you know, only a true sociopath can fall asleep in these circumstances. Think about it: he could go to jail, he could go to prison, and he takes a little nap. That requires a psychopathic mentality, in my opinion. . .The guilty person sleeps the sleep of the psychotic.”

Behar’s armchair psychology is likely based on the old saw that the guilty man who’s been arrested sleeps in his jail cell.

However, Trump was not just arrested and put in a jail cell, and anyone who has been in a courtroom understands the tedious legal process.

Also, if Bragg pushes for jail time for this charge, it would perhaps be the most outrageous sentencing in legal history.

Sunny Hostin, the most rabid anti-Trump host on the show, said, “This is a legal nerds Super Bowl. I’m kind of excited about this.”

Behar added, “Where are they going to find a jury of his peers? How many bloated orange psychos are out there?”

RINO Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in and said, “It does track because I would be in briefings with him on one particular topic, then he would just completely sideline it and take it a different direction. This is like the worst-case scenario with someone with his attention span.”

The “Super Bowl” is just getting started.

Look for The View and other outlets to sensationalize every step of the trial.

Democrat-controlled media outlet was furious that the Supreme Court blew up one Joe Biden narrative

Published

on

By

The Left are grasping at straws for a winning 2024 election pitch.

They have settled on Donald Trump representing the “end of democracy.”

But a Democrat-controlled media outlet was furious that the Supreme Court blew up one Joe Biden narrative.

The Supreme Court is currently hearing arguments on whether or not the January 6 protesters should have been charged with obstructing or impeding an official proceeding.

The charge has been used to throw J6 protesters in jail for years, even those who did not commit acts of violence and simply milled around the Capitol.

Many were even ushered inside.

The Post forced to acknowledge the truth

Joe Biden and other Democrats have used phrases like “MAGA terrorists” and “MAGA insurrectionists” repeatedly, but those same “extremists” are being let out of jail early because the charges against them were dubious.

The hearing alone triggered an early release for some J6 defendants, much to the dismay of The Washington Post.

The paper where “democracy dies in darkness” reported, “Federal judges have begun ordering the early release pending appeal of Jan. 6 defendants who challenged their sentences even though the Supreme Court is a week away from hearing arguments on whether a key charge brought against them is legally sound.”

During the proceedings, Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar struggled to draw a distinction between January 6 protesters and left-wing protesters who were routinely given a slap on the wrist for identical disturbances.

The case against Trump

The Washington Post added that “[a] Supreme Court ruling against the obstruction charge could also impact the election interference case that special counsel Jack Smith has brought against Trump. Two of the four counts the former president and presumptive 2024 Republican nominee faces are conspiring to and actually obstructing the certification of the election, underscoring the stakes of the high-court review.”

That is the main concern of the Democrats and their media allies.

Their entire case against Trump hinges on obstruction of official proceedings; Democrats know they cannot charge him with insurrection, and they have not even tried.

The Post also reported that “Trump’s obstruction charges are based on allegations that he propagated a flood of lies claiming the election was stolen; attempted to use false claims of massive fraud to pressure state officials, the Justice Department and Pence to change the results; and schemed with others to submit to Congress slates of phony electors from swing states and to get lawmakers to toss out lawful ballots, culminating in the violent assault at the Capitol.”

This is how the Democrats are attempting to daisy-chain their way to charging Trump with obstruction.

Trump said he won and explored novel legal theories, which somehow amounts to obstruction.

Democrats know the argument is flimsy, which is why they are already turning up the heat on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Whenever they face a tough legal challenge before the court, they simply attack Justice Thomas and the other conservative justices.
