The storming of the Capitol building has divided the country even worse.

Even though Republicans have wholly condemned the disgraceful act, Democrats are still on the warpath against anyone on the Right.

But one lie about the Capitol Hill riot just backfired on Democrats.

The ugly incident on Capitol Hill served as the impetus for the Democrat Media Complex to boot Donald Trump from every major social media platform and broaden censorship of conservatives online.

Democrats said the breach at the Capitol was a white supremacist insurrection, a baseless assertion.

Not all of the people who stormed the Capitol were white, an inconvenient fact for the Left.

But The Washington Post has an insane rationale for this narrative inconsistency.

Cristina Beltrán wrote in The Post:

“But take a look at the FBI’s posters showing people wanted in the insurrectionist assault on the U.S. Capitol: Among the many White faces are a few that are clearly Latino or African American. Such diversity highlights the fact that President Trump’s share of the Latino vote in November actually rose over 2016”

In the 2020 election, Trump actually received the largest GOP share of the nonwhite vote since 1960.

And Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the “notorious” Proud Boys, a self-described fraternal order of “western chauvinists,” is of Afro-Cuban descent and grew up in Miami’s Little Havana.

Beltrán explains that away as “multiracial whiteness.”

“What are we to make of Tarrio – and, more broadly, of Latino voters inspired by Trump? And what are we to make of unmistakably White mob violence that also includes non-White participants? I call this phenomenon multiracial whiteness – the promise that they, too, can lay claim to the politics of aggression, exclusion and domination.”

This is entirely deranged thinking, and sadly it’s taken a foothold in the Democrat Party.

Nikole Hannah-Jones, author of the spurious New York Times “1619  Project,” made a similar argument after the election and commented that whiteness is malleable.

In the eyes of the hard Left, whiteness is interchangeable with conservative, so nonwhites who aren’t left-wing are politically white.

It’s a sick and twisted ideology that cannot stand up to scrutiny, as is the case with several left-wing arguments.

That’s why the Left is working so hard to censor people.

They can’t win the argument, so the other side must be shut down.

For four years, Jim Acosta tormented and heckled President Trump.

In the final days, Acosta is still looking to get his digs in.

And CNN’s Jim Acosta took this last cheap shot at Donald Trump. Here’s why you’ll be furious.

Jim Acosta is not so much of a reporter as he is a performance artist.

Now that Joe Biden is in the White House CNN has no use for Acosta’s brand of in your face “resistance” coverage so he was moved off the White House beat.

In his final days as White House reporter, Acosta wanted to let it all hang out and attack President Trump to the bitter end.

On one appearance during Wolf Blitzer’s primetime propaganda show, Acosta repeatedly insulted President Trump as a disgrace and a coward who Americans hated and wanted banished from public life.

“That’s right, Wolf. Donald Trump remains in hiding, less than two days before he leaves office in disgrace as a twice impeached President. Trump has not appeared in front of the press in six days as he meets with advisors behind closed doors, plotting his last-minute pardons in a departure ceremony many Americans are hoping will be a one-way ticket out of Washington with no return,” Acosta began.

Acosta added that Trump was a delusional liar for believing the 2020 election was stolen from through massive voter fraud and that it was a “disgraceful way to go out.”

“Even after the events of the last two weeks, Trump is leaving office still lying to himself and others that the election was stolen from him. A White House adviser said aides to the President have explained to him on numerous occasions that there was no evidence he was cheated out of a second term. As this advisor put it, he still thinks it was stolen, and he won, Wolf, what a disgraceful way to go out. The President is still suffering from these delusions. When you look at the polls, the American people just want him to go,” Acosta ranted.

In an interview with The Atlantic, Jim Acosta admitted that CNN did not plan to aggressively cover the Biden administration and instead would take a four year vacation from journalism.

Americans saw that plan to not do any reporting on Biden begin with CNN tweeting out articles on the playlists Joe Biden and Kamala Harris put together for the inauguration.

Acosta’s rant about President Trump being a disgrace and a coward was the last gasp of the anti-Trump resistance journalism that CNN engaged in over the last for years.

And with Biden coming into office, CNN will now shift to being an ally of the White House by working with the administration to amplify its message and not challenge anything they say or do.

The Democrats have ratcheted up their divisive rhetoric since the Capitol Hill riot.

Politicians and pundits have battled for the most incendiary superlative to attack all Republicans and conservatives.

And this top Democrat went on TV and compared Trump to something unthinkable.

The disgusting attack on the Capitol provided the perfect excuse for Democrats to cudgel their ideological opponents.

However, California congressman Eric Swalwell crossed the line when he compared Donald Trump to Osama Bin Laden.

During an interview Judy Woodruff on PBS NewsHour, made the unhinged analogy:

“Well, Osama Bin Laden did not enter U.S. soil on September 11th, but it was widely acknowledged that he was responsible for inspiring the attack on our country. And the president, with his words, using the word ‘fight’ . . . that is hate speech that inspired and radicalized people to storm the capital.”

That is both asinine and a dangerous precedent to set for hate speech and incitement to violence.

Bin Laden declared war on the United States and orchestrated a terrorist attack that killed thousands of Americans.

It’s reckless to compare that to a speech from Trump.

On top of that, new evidence suggests the attack on the Capitol was not spontaneous; bad actors had been planning the breach for as long as a month, so Trump couldn’t have incited the assault.

Woodruff offered zero pushback and allowed Swalwell to temper his words, but instead he doubled down:

“I’m comparing the words of an individual who would incite and radicalize somebody, as Osama Bin Laden did, to what President Trump did. You don’t actually have to commit the violence yourself, but if you call others to violence, that itself is a crime.”

The so-called “mainstream” media have allowed dishonest Democrats to get away with this kind of sickening rhetoric for years, and it’s only gotten worse under the Trump administration.

Suggesting that using a tepid political word like “fight” equals incitement is absurd, especially when Nancy Pelosi called for “uprisings” and Maxine Waters told a mob of constituents to “push back” on Trump cabinet members in the public square.

Bernie Sanders said Republicans were trying to kill Americans with their healthcare proposal, and one of his supporters shot up Republican Congressmen practicing for a baseball game.

That is not the standard for incitement to violence.

By Swalwell’s own standard, he used incitement when he called the sitting president of the United States a Russian “agent” without any evidence.

Meanwhile, the corporate press hasn’t asked Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, about his years-long relationship with a Chinese spy who has since fled the country.

The Democrat Media Complex has taken a match to its credibility.
