The women of The View take turns spouting the most braindead takes.

It truly is a competition of idiocy.

And Joy Behar said something about the Nashville shooting that was too stupid for words.

Democrats get more insufferable than usual after a horrific mass shooting.

They think passing feckless gun control laws that would not have even prevented the most recent incident is somehow efficacious.

Democrats just want to “do something,” which makes them feel better, and nothing else.

In addition to proposing useless laws, Democrats also demonize Republicans in the most despicable ways.

And Joy Behar of The View said that Republicans are profiting off the death of young children.

Behar said during a panel discussion, “They’ll do nothing. They do nothing. It’s all about the money. You know, Marsha Blackburn a senator from Tennessee. She, of course, sent out her thoughts and prayers. She is 13th on a list of senators who have received the most money from the NRA. She received over $1.3 million in donations while representing a state with 1,273 gun deaths a year.”

The “gun lobby” has become a convenient boogeyman for the Democrats, but gun rights groups’ spending is dwarfed by other organizations.

The entire premise is absurd, anyway.

It would mean that Democrats only support gun control because Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety buys them off.

Also, Democrats like to mix together all “gun deaths” when two-thirds of them are suicides.

The overwhelming majority of gun homicides are committed with illegally-obtained handguns.

Behar continued, “Okay, follow the money. This is what this is all about. The gun lobby. All these people who are selling guns. They make a lot of money off children’s deaths apparently in this country. They’re worrying about other people, books – baloney items. This, they will not do anything about it.”

That would also suggest Democrats are only in favor of abortion because Planned Parenthood pays them.

Over 600,000 abortions occur each year, which far surpasses all gun deaths by orders of magnitude.

Democrats are dead-set on disarming law-abiding citizens, and they will accuse Republicans of anything to achieve their goal.

The horrific acts of the Nashville shooter are not a justification for taking away other people’s rights.

Karine Jean-Pierre is in over her head as White House press secretary.

Her press conferences range from cringeworthy to disastrous.

And Jean-Pierre’s massive failure could mean one huge press briefing change.

Democrats routinely use celebrities to boost their image and attach their name and likeness to political priorities.

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to do that with the cast of the Apple+ comedy Ted Lasso, but the press briefing went sideways when reporter Simon Ateba asked Jean-Pierre persistent questions.

Ateba, who reports for Today News Africa, has become the bane of Jean-Pierre’s existence, refusing to let her evade certain topics.

During the Ted Lasso train wreck, Ateba said, “This is the U.S. This is not China. This is not Russia. What you’re doing is not right…What you are doing is you’re making a mockery of the First Amendment. It’s been seven months you’ve not called on me.”

Jean-Pierre, mortified to be challenged in front of Hollywood actors, apologized to the Ted Lasso cast.

And now the White House could be pushing for tighter controls on press passes in order to box out reporters like Ateba.

Sources told the Daily Beast that Jean-Pierre “would like a quick return to Obama-era credentialing requirements for hard passes, which take several months to process and allow reporters to regularly enter the White House complex without prior permission.”

In the Obama era, the White House generally only gave press passes to reporters who were accredited by a chamber of Congress or the Supreme Court. 

The stricter criteria for hard passes would presumably deny access to a reporter like Ateba.

After the Ted Lasso incident, AP reporter Zeke Miller apologized on behalf of the entire press for Ateba’s “unacceptable” behavior.

He said, “I just want to express our apologies in the press corps to the folks watching at home for the display we saw earlier.  Our responsibility is to them. We’re here to ask questions on their behalf, to hold their government accountable because they can’t all be here. You know, this isn’t about us.”

Ateba is currently suing the White House Correspondents’ Association for denying him membership.

He wrote, “I have decided to take legal action against the White House Correspondents Association since they made false claims against me and my company and did not abide by their own membership guidelines. From now on, I will let my lawyer talk about the case but I will fight like hell because as they sit in the briefing room collecting salaries, they don’t know there are people like me who build companies from scratch. Pray for me.”

The establishment clique will do anything to protect the Biden administration.

Joe Biden has embarrassed himself countless times as President.

And somehow Kamala Harris has been even worse.

Now Biden and Harris are furious after Peter Doocy brought up one issue ignored by most of the media.

The corporate press have pulled out all the stops to prop up the Biden administration.

Stories that are unfavorable get completely ignored, and Biden’s so-called triumphs get celebrated like he won World War II.

For example, the so-called mainstream media trumpeted Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which did the exact opposite.

The press admitted that detail only after the legislation passed.

Now the institutional press is hiding the fact that Biden and Harris’s approval ratings have completely gone in the tank.

Peter Doocy of Fox News reported, “His approval rating is nearing an all-time low, just 38 percent in a new AP survey. Hovering two points above last July’s 36 percent bottom…[Harris’s] approval [is] even worse, just 36 percent approving of the Vice President right now with 53 percent disproving, according to Monmouth. Today the Biden cabinet fanned out to ease fears about the big problems affecting those polls like the health of the banking system.”

Biden has sunk even lower than he did after his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Biden and Harris’s low approval ratings are a huge problem for the Democrats.

Nobody in their party is excited about the prospect of Biden-Harris in 2024.

Biden claims he is running again, much to the dismay of Democrats, who have begun voicing their displeasure more pointedly.

When prominent Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been put on the spot as to whether or not they would support Biden, they have demurred or flat-out punted on the question.

The feedback on Harris is even worse.

Recently, Elizabeth Warren was forced to walk back her statement as to whether or not she would support Harris as Biden’s running mate.

Harris has done absolutely nothing as vice President to build any goodwill.

Among her many cringeworthy episodes, perhaps her lowpoint was explaining the Ukrainian war to a radio host.

She said, “So Ukraine is a country in Europe…It exists next to another country called Russia…Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So basically that’s wrong. And it goes against everything that we stand for.”

Harris also believes it’s charming every time she expresses her love of Venn diagrams and school buses.

If Biden-Harris is the ticket in 2024, the Democrats have a serious problem on their hands.

Then again, if the legacy media continues to circle the wagons they may just get them across the finish line again in 2024 like they did in 2020.
