Fox News is facing a major problem that could force several top stars off the air

The final week of a heated campaign is no time for a news network to be making on-air changes.

But Fox News Channel may be forced to.

Now Fox News is facing a major problem that could force several top stars off the air.

Some of the biggest names on Fox News are being forced into quarantine following exposure to an infected individual.

“Those who were exposed include Jay Wallace, the president of Fox News Media; Bret Baier, the chief political anchor; Martha MacCallum, the anchor of Fox’s 7 p.m. show, The Story; and Dana Perino and Juan Williams, two hosts of The Five,” The New York Times reported.

Wallace, Baier, MacCallum, Perino, and Williams were in contact with the infected person following a flight back from Nashville after the second presidential debate.

The New York Times reported that, “The infected person was on a charter flight to New York from Nashville with a group of network executives, personalities and other staff members who attended the presidential debate on Thursday, according to the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal network matters.”

For now Baier, MacCallum, Perino, and Williams will host their programs virtually.

But if they test positive for coronavirus in the coming days they may have to come off the air.

That would be a major blow for Fox News as Baier and MacCallum are expected to play major roles in hosting Fox News Channel’s Election Night coverage.

Liberal critics sought to pounce and say this was another example of conservatives not taking the coronavirus seriously.

But that is not true.

Fox News is known to take more precautions than some other networks and, if anything, this shows the foolishness of trying to “shut down” a virus through restrictions.

Even the most stringent protocols cannot contain a contagious virus and this is more evidence that the path forward is reopening the economy while taking care to protect vulnerable populations as much as possible.

Tucker Carlson had this jaw-dropping response to the campaign to take Fox News off the air

As Joe Biden took office it became clear that the central debate over the next four years will be over the Left’s demands that the government, corporate America, and Big Tech control what Americans are allowed to say.

Canceling Fox News is central to this effort.

But now Tucker Carlson had this jaw-dropping response to the campaign to take Fox News off the air.

The Washington Post, CNN, and MSNBC have declared that no companies should advertise on Fox News as a way to force Fox out of business.

Liberal activists at all of these outlets do not believe any media company that disagrees with the Democrat Party should be allowed to air programming.

MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough warned Fox during a recent broadcast that the Left was coming for their advertisers and that the decision to air programming that promoted an alternative view to the Democrat Party would lead to their doom.

Tucker Carlson responded by noting that Donald Trump routinely accused Scarborough of murder after a young woman died in Scarborough’s Congressional office.

Carlson said even though it was a conspiracy theory, he would never use these allegations to say advertisers should not air commercials on Scarborough’s show.

“[S]o how honest do you want to be here?” Carlson explained. “The man you just saw has been accused by the President of the United States of murdering a young woman. Not many cable news hosts can say that. Now, we are not taking a position on Joe Scarborough’s guilt or innocence on that case. We are not a law enforcement agency. It is not our place to do that. But one thing we did not do and would never do is go on TV and to demand that because Joe Scarborough was accused of violence by a politician, American companies should not be allowed to sell their products to his viewers.”

The Left is not content to take their victory and move.

Instead, they see Joe Biden’s time in office as a chance to accelerate cancel culture and take down their perceived enemies.

And getting rid of Fox News is priority number one.

CNN could shut Fox News down for good after making one outrageous claim

Fox News’ viewership is declining at a rapid pace they’ve never experienced.

It all began when they turned on former President Donald Trump.

And CNN could shut down Fox News for good after making one outrageous claim.

Fox News caved under pressure from the radical Left, and the Republican establishment.

After the media reported Joe Biden’s win, they jumped completely on board with the narrative, even calling some states for Biden before networks like CNN did.

Fox News refused to allow hosts to bring up the very real evidence of voter fraud.

And in some cases, they outright mocked those questioning the election results.

In turn, Fox News has seen a huge decline in viewership, with CNN even having more average viewers than they do.

And CNN sees this, and is trying to put the final stake through the heart of their competitor.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo brought New York Times columnist Tom Friedman on air to talk about how they can take down Fox News for good.

Friedman has a long record of outrageous statements, like when he called Republicans “un-American whores putting a bullet in the country,” and the “biggest threat to our democracy since the Civil War.”

Now he is targeting Fox News, insisting that they gave Trump supporters “permission” to be terrorists, similar to radical Islamist suicide bombers.

He compared Fox News’ pro-Trump coverage as similar to those promoting terrorist ideas to Muslim extremists, saying, “I really draw on the experience now these days of the whole war against Muslim extremism after 9/11. And I tell you the biggest thing I learned from that. That you need a war of ideas and it’s got to come from within.”

He went on to insist that Fox News needs to lose the ability to give “permission” to so-called terrorists.

“We need to take that permission away,” Friedman said. “Just Trump leaving will be at the beginning of that. But the ecosystem, the Fox News permission givers, the whole ecosystem has to say this is off. This is wrong. You are not proud boys, you’re dumb boys. It has to come from within the right and that is what we all have to be calling for as journalists, as politicians, and, Chris, as business leaders.”

To do that, he calls on the business community to defund the network, saying, “The American business community has got to tell every one of these shows if you are promoting a big lie, we are taking the money away. That’s what a war of ideas is all about.”

CNN sees that Fox News is in a weak position now.

And they may be able to succeed in taking them down at this point.

Fox News just fired one big name that Trump supporters could not believe

The shake ups at Fox News continue.

But no one saw this change coming.

And Fox News just fired one big name that Trump supporters could not believe.

On Tuesday, Fox News announced it was firing political editor and decision desk member Chris Stirewalt.

The Hollywood Reporter stated:

Fewer than 20 people are expected to be impacted, someone familiar with the matter says. The company had added to its workforce to help with its coverage of the 2020 election, and with the election over the company is adjusting its staffing accordingly.

Among those let go Tuesday was Chris Stirewalt, the politics editor for Fox News. A 10-year veteran of the company, Stirewalt was also a key member of the Fox News decision desk, which drew the ire of President Trump after becoming the first network to call Arizona for Biden.

Stirewalt became the focus of controversy when Fox became the first network to call Arizona for Joe Biden with just 73 percent of the vote.

That was the event on Election Night that everyone focused on because Presidential Elections draw the most attention.

But Stirewalt and the Fox News Decision Desk completely blew the race for control of the House of Representatives.

The Fox Decision Desk projected early in the night that Democrats would keep control of the House and even gain five seats.

That ended up being wildly wrong as Republicans won every single one of the tossup races and gained 13 seats in the House.

There obviously needed to be major changes at the Fox News Decision Desk.

Stirewalt became the face of the gang that couldn’t shoot straight.

And he paid for it with his job.
