A former Fox News host just made this giant career change

Published

on

Fox News Channel’s critics in the liberal media are legion.

Sometimes the criticism of Fox News comes from within its own building.

Now a former Fox News host just made this giant career change.

Shepard Smith was an obnoxiously left-wing host that spent 20 years at Fox News hosting programs while offering up liberal political opinions and talking points as news.
Smith quit Fox News last October despite making $15 million a year after feuding with Tucker Carlson and whining that Fox News did not defend him against its most popular primetime host.

Given that Smith hated Donald Trump it seemed like it was only a matter of time until fake news CNN or MSNBC hired Smith and gave him a platform to rant against the President.
But in a major surprise, CNBC hired Smith to host a nightly 7PM show.

CNBC announced Smith’s hiring in a statement that read:

Smith will anchor a new one-hour evening news program titled The News with Shepard Smith, airing Monday through Friday at 7pm ET. The newscast, which will launch in the Fall, will cover the most significant news stories of the day and will feature the well-respected, fact-based storytelling that has been the hallmark of his 30-year career. Smith will also assume the new roles of CNBC’s Chief General News Anchor and Chief Breaking General News Anchor as well as Executive Editor of The News with Shepard Smith.

There was some thought in the media that CNBC would turn into a “pro-Trump” TV station based the fact that the network specialized in stock market and business coverage.

But Smith’s hiring to anchor the network’s primetime lineup shows CNBC will be a reliably left-wing network that caters to a liberal audience.

Fox News suffered one setback that could damage the network for years

Published

Fox News channel is the top rated cable news network.

But left-wing activists have fought for years to diminish its influence or shut it down outright.

And now Fox News suffered one setback that could damage the network for years.

Wikipedia is the largest online encyclopedia with over 50,000,000 pages and attracts 65 million readers per month.

Whenever someone wants to look up information on a person, event, or topic Wikipedia is a go-to source and its pages usually land at the top of Google searches.

But like most online platforms, the editors who run Wikipedia are hardcore left-wing ideologues.

And former Wikipedia editor T.J. Adler wrote on Breitbart that Wikipedia’s editors voted to remove Fox News as a trusted source for political and scientific topics.

“Following a month of discussion involving over 150 Wikipedia editors, Fox News is no longer deemed ‘generally reliable’ as a source on political and scientific topics, a downgrade from its prior status. The official finding by a three-person panel of administrators, users with advanced privileges on Wikipedia, was that ‘no consensus’ existed on Fox’s reliability in those areas. The finding came in an election year despite a plurality of editors believing Fox should retain its status as a generally reliable source alongside CNN and the Guardian, one of Wikipedia’s third most-cited sources,” Adler wrote.

This is important because on a Wikipedia page, facts, figures, and claims are cited with a footnote linking to a source.

For political and scientific topics the only information presented to the 65 million readers a month will be culled from left-wing websites and Fake News Media outlets.

This is part of a broader push online to censor conservatives.

Google was recently caught shadow banning conservative websites from its search results.

Social media companies ban more Trump supporters every day.

And now Wikipedia is limiting the sources for political and scientific topics to only those approved by the Left.

A Fox News host told a truth about the coronavirus that CNN wanted to keep hidden

Published

on

Donald Trump is trying to reclaim the narrative on the coronavirus pandemic from the Fake News Media.

The first step in that effort in that effort was resuming White House press briefings on the pandemic.

And now this Fox News host told a truth about the coronavirus that CNN wanted to keep hidden.

Fox News Channel’s The Five discussed President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak when liberal host Juan Williams mentioned that polling data showed 60 percent of the American people disapproved of the President’s management of the virus.

Co-host Greg Gutfeld dismissed the polling data as the product of a Fake News Media smear campaign.

“When you have this narrative pushed by the media, and then they poll the narrative, they push this narrative that Republicans and by connection Trump, are responsible for badness, and then they poll it and then go Oh, surprise, people are dissatisfied with it,” Gutfeld told Williams. “It’s because you are running this false narrative.”

Gutfeld explained to viewers that the real problem with the coronavirus response is the “panic porn” spread by the Fake News Media to try and convince Americans that indefinite lockdowns are needed and that they will die if they step foot outside their house.

“The one thing we’ve learned about Covid is that the only entity that made it worse is the media,” he said. “And what Trump is trying to do is speak directly to the American people. And right now he is more important than the experts, who have been proven wrong on so many things, from masks to social distancing to the shutdown.”

All of the media’ apocalyptic predictions about the virus were false.

The hospital systems were never overwhelmed and patients did not die in hallways because no beds or ventilators were available.

Fake news reporters claimed up to 3,000 Americans would die every day by June 1 when the death toll was less than one third of that.

But the fake news doesn’t care about accuracy or truth in this pandemic. Their only goal is to spread fear and hysteria because they think it will drive down Donald Trump’s poll numbers.

Top Fox News analyst made one strange comment about Trump and Dr. Fauci

Published

on

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s disastrous advice and fear-mongering during the coronavirus pandemic led to 40 million Americans losing their jobs and schools closing and staying closed.

That led many Americans to question why the President hasn’t fired him.

But then a top Fox News analyst made one strange comment about Trump and Dr. Fauci.

Donald Trump is fed up with Dr. Fauci’s scare tactics and poor advice.

In recent days, the President has said he disagrees with Dr. Fauci a lot of that Fauci has made many mistakes.

The White House was asked about what mistakes Dr. Fauci made and the administration circulated a long list of errors and misstatements by Dr. Faucia about masks and the ability of the virus to transmit.

Fox News political editor Chris Stirewalt blasted the White House for pointing out all the things Dr. Fauci got wrong as “making no sense.”

“Whether the administration wants to have Anthony Fauci out front or playing a role behind the scenes or whatever, the efforts that you hear both publicly there from his fellow task force member, but also what they are doing behind the scenes and pushing out these negative narratives about Fauci and briefing reporters about things he said he did wrong, it just makes no sense,” Stirewalt told host Brett Baier.

Stirewalt added that the 2020 election was likely to be a referendum on how the President managed the coronavirus outbreak.

“He can’t seem to get his arms around the idea that this election is a test of his capacity to deal with the subject,” Stirewalt added.

If that is the case, it is even more important that Trump and his allies point out all the times Dr. Fauci led the country astray with his awful lockdown strategy and misdiagnosis of the crisis facing America.

Dr. Fauci has repeatedly tried to undermine the administration on reopening the economy and reopening schools.

And the Fake New Media uses Dr. Fauci’s comments to claim the President is “ignoring” science in the hopes of driving down public confidence in the administration’s response.
