Sunny Hostin of The View tried to scold one Democrat Governor to save Biden’s hide

Joe Biden is hurting in the polls compared to Donald Trump.

He needs every media advantage he can get.

And Sunny Hostin of The View tried to scold one Democrat Governor to save Biden’s hide.

Joe Biden’s handling of the illegal immigration crisis has been a disaster.

According to polls, Donald Trump leads Biden by roughly 30 points on that issue.

Democrats did not start paying attention until the migrant crisis reached blue cities like Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C.

Blue cities under siege

The migrant crisis coupled with pro-crime policies have forced New York City to get more serious about law and order.

Recently, New York Governor Kathy Hochul deployed 750 National Guard troops and 250 State Police officers to New York City to reduce crime in the subway system.

Hochul appeared on The View and was met with pushback by co-host Sunny Hostin, who was anxious to downplay the problem of crime because it would reflect poorly on Biden.

Hostin said, “Governor, after a series of high-profile crimes on New York City subways, right, you deployed hundreds of state police and National Guard troops into the subway system. But since the pandemic, you have done a wonderful job. Overall crime is down in the city…My question is: why now, why deploy to the subway and how do you respond to some of your fellow Democrats calling the move theatrics that play into Republican narratives that blue cities are poorly run war zones?”

Hochul responded, “I’m not buying it. I’m not buying it. My job is to keep you people safe.”

The comment drew applause from The View’s liberal audience.

Even people on the Left eventually get fed up with rampant crime.

New Yorkers fed up

Hochul continued, “I have to—any way I can, I’ll keep New Yorkers safe and I’ll tell you who does show appreciation for it, the people out there on the streets. I’ve been walking the streets. I walk into businesses, people are saying, thank you for taking such strong action…What happened is, I needed to do something dramatic and quickly to send a message that you will not get away with committing crimes in our subways…You cannot slash the throat of a conductor; you cannot push someone onto the track.”

It’s shameful that it took a conductor getting his throat slashed for Democrat officials to take action.

Biden has attempted to present himself as a law-and-order President, but the proof is in the pudding.
