Disgraced journalist sat for one interview that will have steam coming out your ears

Democrat-controlled media outlets truly despise Donald Trump.

They hate the fact that he called them “fake news.”

And a disgraced journalist sat for one interview that will have you steaming.

Donald Trump ripped the corporate-controlled press as the “enemy of the American people.”

They proved him correct with one fake “bombshell” story after another, and constant leaks from the deep state aimed at subverting his administration.

Now CBS just welcomed back Dan Rather for an interview in advance of a Netflix documentary about his career.

Getting it wrong again

Back in 2005, Rather was forced out of the network after presenting fabricated documents about George W. Bush’s military service record.

But CBS welcomed him back.

Rather told CBS correspondent Lee Cowan, “Without apology or explanation, I miss CBS. . .I’ve missed it since the day I left.”

In the Netflix documentary Rather, the disgraced newsman revealed that he believed he could survive the Bush incident, but his wife told him, “You got into a fight with the president of the United States during his re-election campaign. What did you think was going to happen?”

Presenting fake documents is a much bigger problem for a journalist than getting under the skin of the president.

Rather told Cowan, “You either get engaged and you get engaged in the new terms. . .or you’re out of the game. . .And I wanted to stay in the game.”

Still carrying the water

In recent years, Rather has spent time serving as an establishment shill on Twitter.

In response to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s nonsensical hush money trial, Rather tweeted, “Is it just me or did today seem sleazy even for Donald Trump?”

Rather also tried to scold left-wing comedian Jon Stewart after he promoted the COVID lab leak theory on Stephen Colbert’s CBS late-night show.

At the time, suggesting the virus came from the lab in Wuhan was considered racist and a conspiracy that “only” conservatives believed in.

Stewart completely shattered that media taboo, much to the chagrin Democrat-controlled media shilling for Dr. Anthony Fauci’s lies.

Rather wrote on Twitter in response, “Stewart is playing into the trope of the mad scientist at a time when we need science more than ever to solve our more pressing problems — most notably climate change. The idea that science is the biggest threat to the planet is terribly irresponsible. It gives free license to all those who say, ‘forget what we have learned, forget knowledge, forget seeing reality.’ And I fear this reasoning – or should I say ‘unreasoning’ — has not only consumed the modern Republican party but is in danger of consuming an even broader swath of the American and global public.”

Rather’s reproof fell on deaf ears, and the lab leak theory has once again become the dominant explanation.
