Jon Stewart took a cheap shot at one reality TV star after the latest failed Trump witch-hunt

Published

on

Jon Stewart is back attacking Republicans on The Daily Show.

He retreated to Comedy Central after his Apple+ show was a ratings disaster.

And Stewart took a cheap shot at one reality TV star after the latest failed Donald Trump witch hunt.

Democrats and their media allies have been hard-selling the bogus fraud lawsuit against Donald Trump brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Soviet tactics

Delivering on her campaign promise to “get Trump,” James sued Trump for allegedly inflating the value of his properties in order to get more favorable loan rates.

Trump paid back the loans with interest, and the banks said that they would like to do business with Trump in the future, but James unilaterally decided that fraud had taken place.

After a sham trial, Trump was ordered to pay an outrageous fine of $464 million, which was knocked down on appeal to $175 million.

The entire charade urged multimillionaire investor and star of Shark Tank Kevin O’Leary to call out the ridiculous persecution.

Enter Jon Stewart, who used his role on The Daily Show to attack O’Leary personally.

He took umbrage with O’Leary’s description of Trump’s actions being “victimless.”

Looking for the crime

Stewart said, “Ah, who’s next. . .The persecuted minority of the investment community. . .I am surprised to hear this from Kevin O’Leary, the guy who’s such an a**hole. . .that even the other people on Shark Tank think he’s an a**hole. . .I’m surprised to hear that he’s so chill about overvaluing something that he thinks is victimless because when someone tries to do that to him…”

Stewart then cut to a compilation of O’Leary getting angry at contestants overvaluing their startups in pitches to him.

But that is not the “gotcha” moment Stewart thinks it is.

First, it’s O’Leary’s responsibility as an investor to do his own due diligence.

Second, the banks, who did their own valuation of Trump’s properties, got their money back with interest.

Stewart is trying to make bloodthirsty anti-Trumpers feel good about the absurd lawfare against him.

Stewart added that “money isn’t infinite. A loan that goes to the liar doesn’t go to someone who’s giving a more honest valuation, so the system becomes incentivized for corruption. And, this is part of a different Trump fraud case, but avoiding taxes hurts all of us. Donald Trump’s shenanigans cost the City of New York.”

Again, Stewart is glossing over the fact that the banks got their money back, which is the point.

They made a good investment.

Stewart seems to be under the belief that banks just take it on absolute faith whatever loan applicants tell them.

It’s a ridiculous premise.

And Stewart is being dishonest about Trump’s taxes.

There is a difference between market value and assessment value determined by city officials.

Stewart likely knows that, but he has propaganda to sell.

NBC personality that threw Megyn Kelly under the bus just got hit with some bad news

Corporate-controlled media outlets are ruthless.

Megyn Kelly found that out the hard way at two different networks.

And one NBC personality that threw Kelly under the bus just got hit with some bad news.

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly was never a good fit at NBC.

Because Kelly was center-right, she was always viewed with skepticism at NBC News.

Kelly ensured her demise at the network when she criticized former NBC News Chairman Andy Lack for his mishandling of sexual harassment claims in light of the #MeToo era.

Soon after, Kelly did an innocuous segment on people wearing blackface for Halloween back in the 1970s.

Nobody who appeared in the segment or watched the segment was offended.

But not long after, NBC personality Al Roker knifed Kelly in the back.

She was forced to issue a groveling apology before ultimately being fired.

What goes around. . .

Now Roker is being sued as the “woke” boomerang has whirred back toward him.

Roker’s production company was sued for allegedly ignoring DEI (diversity, equity, inclusivity) mandates.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote that a “lawsuit. . .alleges executives at Al Roker Entertainment ‘callously disregarded’ a diversity, equity and inclusion program, commonly called DEI, mandated by PBS, which covered the bulk of the production expenses for animated series Weather Hunters, by attempting to have Black writers touch up scripts written by white scribes to give the appearance of a diverse writers room.”

So, Roker allegedly wanted to bring in black writers for a token role to “touch up” the scripts instead of hiring black writers for the positions.

These are the types of games companies play when they’re forced to play “woke” DEI games.

Bill Schultz, the former executive producer who brought the suit, also claimed that he was targeted for termination for bringing up the DEI issue.

Fake gestures

The complaint alleged that “[i]nstead of giving the chances to BIPOC writers as had been the plan, the story editor, repeating a strategy previously advocated and backed by Al Roker Entertainment management in writing, wanted to have ‘non-BIPOC’ writers write the stories, and then bring on a ‘BIPOC’ writer and after the stories/episodes [were] shaped, they could be ‘hand[ed] off to BIPOC writers.’”

If true, that would mean that Roker is a virtue-signaling fraud.

In reality, shows should not have to play these quota games, but there are countless left-wing groups exerting pressure on Hollywood.

Joy Behar of The View was called out for admitting something truly disturbing

Published

Democrat-controlled media outlets are steeped in Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The View on ABC might be the worst of all.

And Joy Behar of The View was called out for admitting something truly disturbing.

The political correctness movement of the early 1990s came back with a vengeance in the form of “wokeness” and cancel culture.

But people are finally getting sick of it.

Even one member of The View broke ranks in the middle of a Trump-deranged meltdown.

Controversial “like”

The segment centered around Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce, who’s currently dating pop star Taylor Swift, liking an Instagram post of former ESPN reporter Sage Steele posing with Donald Trump.

Steele was one of the last open conservatives to be purged from ESPN.

Kelce liking Steele’s Instagram picture sent off alarm bells throughout Democrat-controlled media outlets.

The women of The View surprisingly took the sensible position that the “like” had no deep significance.

That’s when Joy Behar confessed, “You know, I just found a picture on my photo thing. . .I was at the [White House] Correspondents’ Dinner, and I posed with Lara Trump and Eric Trump. . .I saw the picture and I thought, ‘I have to go into rehab now’. . .This was before [Donald Trump] became president. Obama was in charge.”

Also surprisingly, Sara Haines called out Behar’s freakout as being ridiculous.

Sara fed up

Haines said that “when I like people, whether it’s on a ‘like’ or my friends and family, that is not an endorsement of everything they’ve said, everything they’ve done. . .Typically, when you’re posing for a picture or you’re doing something, let’s let that go back to the good old days when that’s all it was. Because I hate this cancel by association. If you’ve had a picture in your 45-year-old life with someone that said this and that you’re an awful human being. That is not humanity. That’s not what we learned from our parents. It’s not what we learned from church. This is a crazy time we’re living in.”

The Left have turned everything so political that taking a picture with somebody has become a divisive act.

Nobody should have to apologize for a harmless photo from years ago.

But the only way for Democrats to win elections these days is to portray their political opponents as tantamount to fascists.

Stacey Abrams accused Republicans of something outrageous in one MSNBC interview

Published

on

By

Stacey Abrams refuses to go away.

The twice-failed gubernatorial candidate is back just in time for the 2024 elections.

And Abrams accused Republicans of something outrageous in one MSNBC interview.

Democrats and their media allies have deemed election denial tantamount to fomenting an insurrection.

However, that never applies to Democrats.

Denials “R” Us

To this day, it is commonplace for the Left to deny the 2000, 2004, and 2016 presidential elections.

Stacey Abrams of Georgia, and other Democrats, repeatedly claimed that she was duly elected governor despite losing to Brian Kemp.

In light of January 6, the Democrat-controlled media tried to memory-hole that inconvenient fact.

Now Abrams is back, claiming that Republicans are threatening to end democracy.

Her “evidence” is that people on the Right are opposing the “woke” trinity of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusivity).

During an interview with MSNBC, Abrams said, “We should be terrified of the person who wants to come back into the White House, strip off us of our rights, rescind the economic progress we have made and undermine the democracy that we hold to be so dear.”

A majority of Americans are eager for their economic “progress” to be rescinded.

So-called Bidenomics is a lead balloon for the Democrats.

Abrams’ gobbledygook

She continued, “We have to remember that built into every victory are the seeds of defeat and built into every defeat are the seeds of victory. We have seen victory, but we cannot rest on that victory and think that it is impermeable and impervious to harm. What we know is that the attack on diversity, equity, and inclusion, DEI, is an attack on democracy, it is an attack on education, it is an attack on how our economy works because what Senator Ossoff and Senator Warnock represent are pathways to the American dream, they are proof points and those proof points scare those who want this world to be more narrow and restrictive. And so, we have to recognize that our opportunity to hold to those successes requires our constant attention and constant attending. You know, voting is not magic, voting is medicine, but it also means that it is a constant engagement and we cannot have a moment of success, we have to keep working constantly at moving ourselves forward.”

Buried in that word salad is Abram’s defense of DEI, which is collapsing in on itself.

Many state governments and universities are scrapping DEI programs.

It is wildly unpopular, and even people on the Left are calling it out.

A guest on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show deemed DEI “mostly garbage.”

If the Democrats are hoping that defending DEI will save them in 2024, they truly are in trouble.
