Lindsay Lohan was attacked by a far-left rag for a truly insane reason

“Woke” leftists are always on the hunt for something in the culture to attack.

Even harmless movies could be deemed “problematic.”

And Lindsay Lohan was attacked by a far-left rag for a truly insane reason.

Hollywood is notorious for destroying the lives of child actors.

Lindsay Lohan was one of many who rose quickly, then crashed and burned as an adult.

But at 37 years old, Lohan is in the midst of a redemption arc.

Lohan’s comeback

Lohan has been sober for over a decade, and she recently became a mother.

She wrote in a social media post, “I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery – Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!”

In addition to having a child, Lohan is again acting in films.

Lohan signed a two-picture deal with Netflix and is reportedly working with Disney on a Freaky Friday sequel.

However, the leftist magazine Vulture was horrified, for some reason, by Lohan’s Netflix romantic comedy Irish Wish.

In the film, Lohan plays a book editor who travels to Ireland for a wedding when she makes a wish, then magically ends up in place of the bride.

Unhinged analysis

Vulture feature writer Rachel Handler wrote that the film “is a thinly veiled Trojan horse for the conservative agenda, a crypto-fascist work of art cluttered with right-wing dog whistles and dialogue that could have only been written by a malevolently programmed artificial intelligence. I attempted to identify and examine its most troubling moments, which ended up being the entire movie from start to finish, which I watched twice while feeling the walls of reality melt around me.”

According to this writer, a silly romantic comedy is a “harbinger” of an authoritarian state.

She also wrote, “Now that I have seen Netflix’s latest film, Irish Wish, I realize I have been but a hapless pawn in a larger sociopolitical plot to maintain the status quo, quell dissent, replace much of the workforce with AI, install a permanent Christian theocratic dictator, and make Ireland look weird for some reason.”

Needless to say, her film analysis leaves a lot to be desired.

For example, Handler described one scene by writing, “In the next scene, as the women hoist their heavy baskets of apples up the drive, Heather says, ‘How about we make an apple pie for Kory?’ Is this some kind of QAnon thing? Regardless, fruit is never addressed again.”

There is no explanation as to how that could possibly be tied to QAnon.

It’s just a goofy throwaway line to feed into a nonsensical reading of the film.

Handler goes on for thousands of words and goes into detail over 48 plot points.

There are exegeses of Citizen Kane and The Godfather shorter than this.

It’s no wonder corporate media outlets like Vulture are collapsing.

Oprah Winfrey is pushing one dangerous message

Trust in corporate-controlled media is at an all-time low.

Americans are taking a second look at media figures once deemed credible.

Now Oprah Winfrey is pushing one dangerous message.

Oprah Winfrey became one of the most popular broadcasters in history and built a billion-dollar media empire.

One of the most notable aspects of Winfrey is her decade-long struggle with her weight.

She was a longtime supporter of WeightWatchers but has reportedly divested from the company.

New agenda in the weight-loss industry

Now Winfrey is pushing a new message that could have serious health implications.

During an ABC special titled An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame And The Weight Loss Revolution, Winfrey detailed her journey of yo-yo dieting and other pitfalls.

But now Winfrey is pushing drugs like Ozempic to deal with the problem of obesity.

She said in an interview, “The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for. . .I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself.”

However, medications like Ozempic come with serious side effects that are not being readily discussed.

Wonder drug?

For example, once people take Ozempic, they are never supposed to stop.

Former Big Pharma insider Calley Means explained in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson how the weight loss industry is shifting its focus away from self-control.

He said, “They’re saying, how can we actually say obesity is not your fault. Oprah, who’s involved with WeightWatchers, just apologized for preaching personal accountability over the past decades. She said it’s not personal accountability. We’re supporting Ozempic.”

Carlson asked, “You think Oprah got paid?”

Means responded, “She’s highly involved with WeightWatchers. Yeah, WeightWatchers has shifted from a personal accountability organization that it’s been, preaching for decades and is now a prescriber of Ozempic, but they’ve totally changed because Ozempic is a better business model because you never go off of it.”

Prior to Winfrey’s special, she announced that she donated “all of my shares at WeightWatchers to the Smithsonian Museum Of African American History And Culture.”

Sky News reported that in “December 2023, during an interview with American celebrity magazine People, [Winfrey] admitted to using weight-loss medication but did not say which one.”

However, the problem with drugs, aside from the side effects, is that they do not address the underlying issues.

Winfrey illustrated that fact when she described how in 1988 she lost 67 pounds on an unsustainable liquid diet, and then put the weight right back on.

“And after losing 67 pounds on a liquid diet, the next day, the very next day, I started to gain it back.”

Weight-loss drugs are not a panacea, and it’s dangerous to present them as such.
