Jasmine Crockett once told Fox News that crossing the border illegally simply isn't a crime.
Now Democratic congressional nominee Chris Rabb sat across from Sean Hannity and tried the same trick with a new spin.
Rabb told Hannity not to "accept the premise" on illegal immigration – and what he said next should make every legal voter furious.
Rabb Says Illegal Entry Isn't What You Think It Is
Chris Rabb, the Democratic nominee running for a U.S. House seat out of Philadelphia, sat down with Hannity this week to talk about immigration.
Asked directly about people in the country illegally, Rabb answered a question with a question.
"What are illegals?" he asked Hannity.
Then he told him flatly not to "accept the premise" that illegal immigration is a straightforward legal violation.
"There are folks who have documentation," Rabb said. "But these are not criminal acts."
Translation: even when someone's paperwork doesn't add up to legal status, Rabb doesn't think it should count as breaking the law.
That's not a gaffe.
That's the modern Democratic Party's talking point, delivered on enemy territory, to Hannity's face.
Rabb didn't stop there, either.
Pressed further, he said "Absolutely" to going even harder on enforcement – then called for dismantling what he described as "immigrant concentration camps."
The Law Says Otherwise, Whether Rabb Accepts It or Not
Federal law is not ambiguous here.
Title 8, Section 1325 of the U.S. Code makes improper entry into the United States a federal crime.
First offense is a misdemeanor.
Repeat entry is a felony.
That statute has been on the books for decades, enforced by Republican and Democrat administrations alike – until the Biden years turned it into a suggestion.
Rabb wants voters to believe the paperwork is the only issue.
The federal code disagrees with him.
This isn't the first time a Democrat has tried this exact move on live television.
Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett told Fox News flatly that illegal immigration "is not a crime."
Border czar Tom Homan tore that claim apart on Fox Business, pointing out that Crockett was simply wrong about federal law.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta ran the same play, insisting publicly that being an "undocumented immigrant" doesn't make someone a criminal.
Rabb just picked up where Crockett and Bonta left off – same script, different face, same insult to your intelligence.

Why Democrats Keep Reaching for This Line
Democrats lost the argument on open borders.
Voters watched fentanyl pour across an unguarded line and gang members walk into their towns, and they threw Biden's party out for it.
So now the party's strategy isn't defending the border – it's redefining the crime out of existence.
If illegal entry isn't a crime, then ICE agents are just harassing innocent people.
If it isn't a crime, every argument for the wall, for Homan, for Trump's entire enforcement operation collapses.
That's the game.
Rabb isn't debating semantics.
He's trying to dismantle the legal foundation of the border itself, one Hannity appearance at a time.
Rabb isn't some fringe activist shouting into a podcast.
He just won a Democratic primary in a Philadelphia congressional district and is heavily favored to walk into Congress in January.
That means this isn't a one-off cable hit.
It's a preview of a voting member of the House who will sit on committees, write immigration bills, and tell colleagues that the law you elected Trump to enforce doesn't actually exist.
Homan and DHS have spent a year rebuilding what Biden tore down – deportation flights, worksite enforcement, actual consequences for illegal entry.
Rabb wants to walk into Washington and tell Americans the entire premise was a mistake.
