Joy Behar accused President Trump of taking a nuclear bribe on live television.
She said the Saudis paid for it so they could build a nuclear weapon.
Then Behar named the exact American city she thinks that weapon will hit.
Behar Named Cleveland As the Target and Called It a Cash Payoff
Thursday's episode of The View started as a segment about a real nuclear energy agreement.
It ended with Joy Behar accusing President Trump of selling out Cleveland, Ohio to the Saudi royal family.
Behar spun a legitimate energy deal into a conspiracy about Trump arming the country tied to the 9/11 hijackers.
She then asked her co-hosts a question that stopped the segment cold.
"Are they waiting for him to drop a nuke on Cleveland?!" Behar said.
She insisted the Saudis were paying Trump tens of billions of dollars to look the other way, then told her co-hosts flatly that she was now scared.
The actual agreement Trump signed this week does the opposite of what Behar told her audience.
Any nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia requires Riyadh to normalize relations with Israel and would "prohibit the production of atomic weapons."
Behar never mentioned either condition, letting the bribe theory sit there uncorrected instead.
Whoopi Turned the Segment Into a Voting Ad and Nobody at ABC Blinked
Behar was not the only host who crossed a line Thursday.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg spent the closing minutes of the segment urging viewers to vote against Republicans in November.
She pushed viewers to track down their mail-in ballot options right away and help their neighbors vote too, telling them flatly not to wait until November.
This happened months after federal regulators warned broadcasters that shows like The View are not automatically exempt from equal-time rules when a host tells viewers who to vote against, the same rule Trump has already invoked to threaten ABC's own broadcast licenses.
The View airs on a station licensed to serve the public interest, not to function as a Democrat get-out-the-vote operation.
Even some conservative commentators outside the MAGA base noticed how far Thursday's episode went.

This Is Not the First Time Behar Has Melted Down on Live Television
Behar has a pattern, and Thursday fits it perfectly.
Two days earlier, she told the same panel that election fraud concerns had never existed before Trump, claiming "for the 10,000 years that I've been on this planet, this has never come up."
Courts and election officials disagreed with her framing long before Thursday's nuclear meltdown ever aired.
Behar has also called Trump's presidency a "reign of terror" and compared it to the French Revolution on air.
Even Behar occasionally breaks from the script, admitting last year "I personally would like it to have been successful," about Trump's strikes on Iran's nuclear program.
That one moment of honesty makes Thursday's Saudi bribery theory look even more unhinged by comparison.
The Fine Print Behar Skipped Guts Her Own Bribery Story
Follow the money, Joy said. Fine. Let's follow it.
The real Saudi deal comes with a condition Behar left out entirely: no bomb without Riyadh recognizing Israel first, and no enrichment path to a weapon at all.
That is the opposite of a bribe. That is Trump squeezing a concession out of a Gulf monarchy that past administrations never got.
Behar does not care about the fine print because the fine print does not scare 70-year-old grandmothers into voting Democrat in November.
A theory about Trump handing Cleveland to the Saudis for cash does.
Whoopi did not even bother hiding the goal. She told her audience to vote, and to vote now, in the same breath Behar was accusing the president of nuclear treason.
That is not commentary. That is a campaign ad wearing a talk show's face, running on a license the public still technically owns.
Nobody at ABC has paid a price for it yet, and until someone does, Joy Behar will keep telling your neighbors the president is arming their own backyard.
