Elon Musk came to Washington as one of President Trump’s biggest supporters and the head of the Department of Government Efficiency.

But that’s all now in ruins.

Democrat Congressman promises Musk will face criminal investigations once party returns to power

DOGE identified hundreds of billions of dollars in spending cuts and hundreds of thousands of deep state bureaucrats President Trump could fire.

But Musk and DOGE also faced an unrelenting smear campaign in the press and acts of sabotage from RINOs in Congress and even President Trump’s cabinet as they fought to protect favored programs and bureaucratic power centers from the DOGE ax.

Now the Democrat Party wants revenge and smells blood in the water.

MSNBC host Symone Sanders asked Democrat Congressman Suhas Subramanyam of Virginia about insane conspiracy theories running rampant on the left that Musk used DOGE to hoover up Americans personal data that he could use for the benefit of his SpaceX and X companies.

“Let’s talk about Elon Musk. You know, I’ve seen a lot of headlines, Congressman, over the last 24 hours. Elon Musk’s exit: he is leaving Washington. But I think that Elon Musk is just finished. I have not heard a lot of Democratic elected officials talk about the data. Elon Musk and his DOGE peeps, if you will, they installed servers within the White House complex,” Sanders began.

Democrats and media allies think Americans should be enraged at government accessing government-created data

Without citing any evidence, Sanders claimed DOGE’s infiltration of government servers to collect Americans’ data was still ongoing and asked Subramanyam what Democrats planned to do about this.

“They were integral within the office of presidential personnel, which has tentacles out into every single agency they are. They have inroads into every single agency. Now the DOGE was in there, and the servers, I don’t think, have left the White House. So what are Democrats going to do about the data? Are you all going to follow up on this?” Sanders concluded.

The kernel this “servers” narrative is based on stems from DODGE trying to get access to Social Security Administration (SSA) data – a move meant to expose all the non-citizen and long-dead citizen’s social security numbers in the system that are used to backstop identities for all sorts of illegal, fraudulent activity from voting to illegal workers and welfare abuse that costs taxpayers enormous sums.

But leftists like Subramanyam and Sanders, and their establishment cronies seem to want Americans to believe that DODGE was attempting a warrantless dragnet on Americans’ personal communications akin to the unconstitutional Government snooping dragnets established under the Patriot Act that the Deep State still operates to this day.

Under Joe Biden, Democrats weaponized the FBI and Justice Department to target President Trump and his supporters.

The Democrat Party’s goal was to see President Trump die in prison.

But that lawfare backfired and turned Trump into a sympathetic figure while helping him win re-election.

Subramanyam showed the Democrats didn’t learn any lessons and promised that if the Democrats win back the House of Representatives in 2026 they will launch the same kind of witch hunt hearings against Musk that Nancy Pelosi did after Democrats won the House in 2018.

These hearings ended up forming the basis of the civil and criminal cases that Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, and Jack Smith used to indict Trump on phony charges.

Subramanyam accused Musk of committing crimes so the Democrat Party is planning to rerun the Trump lawfare playbook to jail Musk.

“Yeah, I heard he’s on some image repair tour. I think the best way for him to repair his image is to reverse all the damage he did to our government, to the American people. Yeah, those servers are a big issue. We want to continue to investigate that. And certainly, I think some crimes may have been committed over the past 3 or 4 months, and they are going to come to light one way or another, even if it takes us getting into power again, but we will subpoena people and find out,” Subramanyam concluded.
