In an eye-rolling case of irony, CNN announced it will be hiring reporters to cover “misinformation.”
Anyone who has followed CNN’s fake news scandals over the past several years found the announcement amusing.
One of those people is Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who knows all too well about CNN’s fake news.
Carlson pointed to a couple examples of CNN folly, including network medical expert Leana Wen who said “we” have failed the children with nonsensical COVID procedures.
Wen claimed without a hint of irony, “We have failed our children throughout this entire pandemic, we have not prioritized our kids, and now we’re seeing the effect, we’re seeing the mental health impact, as you mentioned, but we’re also seeing the impact on nutrition and physical activity. These studies are also showing that school lockdowns have an impact on increasing childhood obesity, which also has implications for diabetes and heart disease for these kids growing up later on in life, as well.”
Carlson pointed out that it wasn’t “we,” it was the COVID hysterics in the corporate-controlled press and the Democrat Party.
Anyone following data knew that school closure was a terrible idea back in 2020.
Dr. Anthony Fauci slammed anyone who argued that the schools should remain open, then he reversed himself many months later after closures became an untenable position.
Even Brian Stelter admitted the schools could not remain shut down.
At this point, the only people who favor school lockdowns are the greedy teachers unions who are holding out for ridiculous demands while their members continue to get paid.
There are too many instances of misinformation to count at CNN, but the Russiagate hoax immediately comes to mind.
CNN was one of the biggest purveyors of that lie.
The network platformed Deep State actors who were in on the plot to surveil Donald Trump’s campaign.
It’s clear why viewers are now ditching CNN in droves.
Meanwhile, Fox News continues to dominate its left-wing counterpart in the ratings game.
If CNN wants to battle misinformation, it does not need to travel beyond its four walls.
The New York Times tried to slander Tucker Carlson yet again.
Smearing him means that the Left won’t have to contend with his arguments.
But Bill Maher just proved that Carlson was right about one hot-button issue.
The New York Times is desperate to convince people that Tucker Carlson is a racist.
The Times’s thesis, which is promoted by the majority of the Left, is that Carlson is a bigot because of his hawkish views on illegal immigration.
Not long ago, Democrats were very much against illegal immigration over American labor concerns; in 2015 Bernie Sanders called open borders a “Koch brothers proposal.”
The Democrats have abandoned their old position from seven years ago in exchange for unfettered illegal immigration.
And anyone who does not agree is denounced as a racist.
But Bill Maher just torpedoed that argument.
During a panel discussion on his show with Democratic former Alabama Senator Doug Jones and MSNBC host Ali Velshi, Maher said the Left have to stop ignoring the issue of mass immigration.
Maher said, “What about the other big ‘I’ issue, which is immigration? Joe Biden famously used the phrase ‘big f*cking deal.’ When is he going to understand this is a big f*cking deal? We just had an election in France. Macron pulled it out, pretty handedly. But Marine Le Pen started at nothing and now she [came] within striking distance…This is the same issue as Brexit in England. This is the same issue as Trump voters in America. This is France…But that is a reasonable argument, that there’s this elitist group that’s running the world that’s left us behind.”
As Maher pointed out, it is reasonable for people to be skeptical of mass immigration, especially when it’s being imposed by elites in top-down fashion.
It’s being packaged simply as a race issue, but Mexicans were frustrated with thousands of Central American migrants coming to their community en masse on their way to the United States.
Hispanic Americans in South Texas and other border communities are exasperated by endless waves of illegal aliens flowing in from Mexico, Central America, South America, and even Africa and Asia.
In 2015, then-German Chancellor Angela Merkel confessed that multiculturalism had failed.
Multiculturalism is not the commingling of separate cultures; it’s the idea that migrants bring in their own culture and do not assimilate to the host culture.
That is a recipe for disaster.
The flawed idea of multiculturalism has taken over the international Left, which has exacerbated tension between migrant and host country.
Citizens should get to decide how much immigration they want, but they are not even being asked.
Regardless of the polls, the elites are determining for the citizens and calling them racist if they dissent.
