If you thought the vitriol spewed by leftists was ugly when Donald Trump was elected as president, wait until you see what happens when they lose the ability to kill babies.
This week MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle and guests kicked off what’s almost guaranteed to be the prelude to one evil leftist battle.
And their bizarre argument completely defies logic.
The 11th Hour host brought a Washington Post reporter and NYU Law professor on her show to figure out what will happen if the Supreme Court finally overturns Roe v. Wade.
The Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision has been used as an excuse to allow an estimated 63.4 million unborn babies to be murdered in the womb in the United States over the past 49 years.
On close reading, it stands out as the most slipshod case the high court ever allowed to slip through the grasp of reason and logic.
Even back in 1973 when the case was decided, the court pointed out that a woman doesn’t have a right to kill her child.
In the court’s official brief on the case back in 1973 the justices wrote, “…some amici (abortion advocates) argue that the woman’s right is absolute and that she is entitled to terminate her pregnancy at whatever time, in whatever way, and for whatever reason she alone chooses. With this we do not agree.”
But instead of truly dealing with the issue—and even addressing the fact that a fetus is a separate person from the point of conception— the court allowed itself to get distracted by extraneous and outdated speculation over when a baby becomes a person apart from the mother which resulted in a largely arbitrary abortion cut-off point in a pregnancy.
But now Ruhle and her guests, professor Melissa Murray and reporter Phillip Rucker are busy working to rewrite history.
Ruhle asked for comments on part of the draft decision which she quoted as reading, “The constitution makes no reference to abortion and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision.”
Murray jumped in saying that’s an argument “conservatives like to talk about incessantly” while claiming that “there are a lot of things that they hold sacrosanct that are not explicit in the constitution either.”
She cited executive privilege and qualified immunity as examples.
She then went on to claim abortion is a “right.”
“I can’t even express the magnitude of this decision. This is not just overturning Roe vs Wade, that’s actually withdrawing a right that had previously been conferred,” Murray said. “We have never done anything like that in the history of this country.”
Except that killing babies has never been a legal right in America—merely a horrific reality.
In fact, the United States’ constitution was established to protect “life, liberty, and property.”
Then, taking a desperate stab at fear mongering Murray employed the most illogical slippery slope argument ever.
Pointing to a proposed law in Missouri making it a crime to leave the state to get an abortion she said, “this is something that happened in the days when interracial marriage was prohibited. It could be a crime to actually leave the state to transact an interracial marriage…we are going to see not a state-by-state settlement of this, but actually more inter-jurisdictional conflict over abortion and the withdrawal of a right that many Americans have come to take for granted at this point.”
The idea that prohibiting people from murdering unborn babies is in any way comparable to interracial marriage is ludicrous.
But there’s only so much leftists can say about abortion without touching on the messy reality that they’re desperate to kill babies.
For the past 49 years, they’ve been given a free pass to do what they please and ignore the fact that they’re killing innocent children.
At this point—when leftists have nearly dominated every other aspect of culture—they’re going to fight with everything they have to keep a foundational part of their evil agenda in place.
