As Joe Biden took office it became clear that the central debate over the next four years will be over the Left’s demands that the government, corporate America, and Big Tech control what Americans are allowed to say.

Canceling Fox News is central to this effort.

But now Tucker Carlson had this jaw-dropping response to the campaign to take Fox News off the air.

The Washington Post, CNN, and MSNBC have declared that no companies should advertise on Fox News as a way to force Fox out of business.

Liberal activists at all of these outlets do not believe any media company that disagrees with the Democrat Party should be allowed to air programming.

MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough warned Fox during a recent broadcast that the Left was coming for their advertisers and that the decision to air programming that promoted an alternative view to the Democrat Party would lead to their doom.

Tucker Carlson responded by noting that Donald Trump routinely accused Scarborough of murder after a young woman died in Scarborough’s Congressional office.

Carlson said even though it was a conspiracy theory, he would never use these allegations to say advertisers should not air commercials on Scarborough’s show.

“[S]o how honest do you want to be here?” Carlson explained. “The man you just saw has been accused by the President of the United States of murdering a young woman. Not many cable news hosts can say that. Now, we are not taking a position on Joe Scarborough’s guilt or innocence on that case. We are not a law enforcement agency. It is not our place to do that. But one thing we did not do and would never do is go on TV and to demand that because Joe Scarborough was accused of violence by a politician, American companies should not be allowed to sell their products to his viewers.”

The Left is not content to take their victory and move.

Instead, they see Joe Biden’s time in office as a chance to accelerate cancel culture and take down their perceived enemies.

And getting rid of Fox News is priority number one.

And MSNBC told a big lie about one disastrous Biden policy.

Joe Biden has already signaled that the establishment globalists are back in charge.

But Biden is also proposing increasing the minimum wage to $15 per hour, which would lead to increased unemployment.

MSNBC deliberately misled viewers on that very important detail.

Host Alex Witt said to her guest, leftist economist Darrick Hamilton, “So what about the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office which says that raising the minimum wage, Darrick, could lift more than 1.3 million workers out of poverty?”

The CBO actually said the increase would lead to job losses for 1.3 million workers.

Kathleen Caminiti, an attorney who focuses on labor wages for the firm Fisher Phillips, said of the proposal, “[T]here are plenty of unintended consequences, including potentially the loss of jobs, jobs going overseas, more AI where you have automation replacing low-wage earners.”

The correlation between increased minimum wage and increased unemployment has long been understood by economists.

However, left-wing economists have begun to break from that orthodoxy.

But even they begrudgingly admit that drastic increases in the minimum wage – as opposed to small, incremental increases – leads to more unemployment.

Biden’s proposal would more than double the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $15.

That would be a devastating blow for small businesses.

Bigger corporations could defray the cost of increased labor by offering more self-serve kiosks, cutting back on fringe benefits, and raising prices.

Increased minimum wage hikes also hurt low-skilled workers the most.

They get priced out of the market, and it makes it much more difficult for them to get on the economic ladder.

More businesses are also requiring college degrees for jobs where they aren’t necessary as a result of the artificial wage hikes.

The Biden administration hasn’t wasted any time in making moves that hurt the average American worker.

During the MSNBC interview, Hamilton made a statement that sums up the mindset of the Left.

He said, “Businesses will adjust and, you know, we also have another mechanism of employing individuals, and that’s the federal government.”

Democrats want as many people as possible reliant on the federal government.

The Left’s cancel culture is out of control.

Liberals believe its open season on shutting down conservative speech and forcing all Americans to either keep quiet about their views or face online censorship and loss of employment.

And now this former Republican Congressman went on TV and explained how the Left will cancel Fox News.

On Friday morning, former Republican Congressman and MSNBC’s Morning Joe cohost Joe Scarborough tore into Fox News for supposedly allowing extreme rhetoric on their air.

“If they are really so concerned about NewsMax getting a few of their viewers that they are allowing former Republican leaders to go out and talk about extermination to continue, whipping Qanon people, continuing whipping potential future insurrectionists into a rabid frenzy? Are they never ever going to wake up and understand how damaging this sort of talk is to America?” Scarborough ranted.

Of course, Scarborough had no comment on the fact that a Rachel Maddow fan bought into the baseless conspiracy theory MSNBC, CNN, and The New York Times promoted about Trump being a Russian spy and tried to assassinate 20 Republican members of Congress because he bought into the deranged theory they were all abetting treason.

Nor did Scarborough criticize fellow MSNBC on-air talent who implied Trump supporters needed to be “deprogrammed” through re-education training.

Scarborough then pointed the blame at Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan for allowing Fox News to criticize Joe Biden and the Democrats.

“Here’s what I don’t understand,” Scarborough added. “Forget the moral point of view. It’s reprehensible. I don’t know how Rupert and Lachlan [Murdoch] they look at themselves in a mirror.”

Frequent MSNBC guest Donny Deutsch suggested that liberals should continue to attack Fox’s advertisers with sponsor boycotts to strangle Fox News financially.

“From a business point of view, it’s a very, very desperate end game,” Deutsch added. “Do you know in primetime, one of three commercials on primetime Fox is the Pillow Guy?” Deutsch is referencing the spate of My Pillow ads throughout Fox News, which are direct ads and often come from unsold or remnant ad inventory and are therefore much cheaper.

The biggest political fight in America right now is over the Left’s insistence that no one they disagree with should be allowed to speak online, in public or TV.

And Morning Joe made it clear the Left will use every tool at its disposal to silence conservatives and Trump supporters.
