The New York Times issued a humiliating correction that proved one undeniable truth

Published

on

For better or worse, The New York Times is the paper of record in the United States.

But The Times also has a major problem on its hands.

And now The New York Times issued a humiliating correction that proved one undeniable truth.

The Times issued a correction to a story by science and health reporter Apoorva Mandavilli in which Mandavilli wildly overstated the number of children hospitalized from the Chinese coronavirus.

The Times initially reported ‘nearly 900,000 children have been hospitalized’ with COVID since the pandemic began, when the factual data in the now-corrected version is that ‘more than 63,000 children were hospitalized with Covid-19 from August 2020 to October 2021,’” the correction read.

This did not appear to many as an innocent error.

The Times – like the rest of the corporate-controlled media – is fully onboard with forcibly vaccinating every American.

As Big Pharma asks the government for emergency use authorizations to administer the vaccine to children, the next big fight will play out over vaccine mandates in schools.

Mandavilli’s article played into the fear-mongering the corporate-controlled media uses to push vaccine mandates by overstating the risk to children from the Chinese coronavirus.

The Times used to have a highly competent science and health reporter named Donald McNeil who never used to make embarrassing, agenda-driven errors like this.

But back in February, The Times forced out McNeil after woke staffers revolted over reports that McNeil offended privileged SJW teenagers on a trip to South America several years prior.

Polls show trust in the media is at an all-time low.

A big reason why is corporate-controlled media outlets like The Times sacrifice accuracy for narrative storytelling.

The media issues corrections when so-called “journalists” make errors.

But the errors always run in one direction and the correction never gets as much traction or coverage as the initial claim.

Sarah Palin has The New York Times sweating bullets after what they did to her

Republicans are far beyond fed up with The New York Times.

“The paper of record” is one of the main tools of today’s Democrat establishment.

Now Sarah Palin has The Times sweating bullets after what they did to her.

Sarah Palin’s lawsuit against The New York Times is moving forward, and people on the Left are concerned about the tightening of libel laws.

The Times shamefully blamed Palin for the shooting of Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.

Palin put out a campaign ad that illustrated crosshairs on Democrat-controlled Congressional Districts that should metaphorically be targeted in elections.

That was used by the Left to spin the insane narrative that Palin was attempting to get Democrats killed.

The Times wrote, “In 2011, when Jared Lee Loughner opened fire in a supermarket parking lot, grievously wounding Representative Gabby Giffords and killing six people, including a 9-year-old girl, the link to political incitement was clear. Before the shooting, Sarah Palin’s political action committee circulated a map of targeted electoral districts that put Ms. Giffords and 19 other Democrats under stylized cross hairs.”

The entire narrative was bogus from the start – Loughner was not deeply ideological, and he had been obsessed with Giffords long before Palin’s ad.

Giffords herself got in on the act, saying, “We’re on Sarah Palin’s targeted list . . . But the thing is the way that she has it depicted has the cross hairs of a gun sight over our district. When people do that, they’ve got to realize there’s consequences to that.”

Nevertheless, the lie spread that Palin was somehow culpable for the horrific shooting.

That prompted Palin to go to court, and now Democrats are worried.

The Times also worked in a dig at Donald Trump, fretting that he may get his wish of more robust strictures regarding libel.

The paper wrote, “But a libel case that begins Monday in federal court in Lower Manhattan, Sarah Palin v. The New York Times Company, shines a spotlight on the many ways that Mr. Trump’s seemingly far-fetched wish may no longer be so unthinkable.”

Now The New York Times could be in hot water.

In addition to Palin’s suit, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe is suing the paper for defamation, and a judge ruled that his lawsuit can move forward, too.

In days past, The Times could get away with libeling whomever it wanted.

But those days could be over.

The Leftist hacks at The New York Times may finally get held accountable for the fake news they spread.

The New York Times is spreading one disgusting lie to rescue Joe Biden

Published

Joe Biden’s Presidency has already cratered in one year.

And the corporate-controlled press continues its ridiculous efforts to prop him up.

Now The New York Times is spreading one disgusting lie to rescue Biden.

Joe Biden’s legislative agenda has run into a brick wall.

His monstrous Build Back Better bill was nixed by West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin.

Biden lost West Virginia by nearly 40 points in 2020 and his poll numbers are as low as 33%, so there is no reason for Manchin to anchor himself to a sinking President.

But the corporate-controlled press is stepping in to help save Biden’s agenda.

Biden and the Democrats are attempting to cram through voting reform legislation that would nationalize election laws and make temporary guidelines like universal mail-in voting permanent.

That’s where The New York Times stepped in to stump for the Democrats’ voting legislation.

The Times argued in favor of nuking the Senate filibuster so the Democrats can push through their agenda before they lose control of Congress, which is highly likely.

The Democrat talking point is that Republican legislatures are bringing back “Jim Crow 2.0” by simply removing the COVID emergency voting procedures.

The Times wrote that “President Biden urged Democrats to change the Senate’s rules to open a path – now blocked by the threat of a Republican filibuster – for federal legislation that would roll back some of the more egregious new voting restrictions and rein in hyperpartisan gerrymandering.”

First, Democrat whining over gerrymandering is absurd considering 538, a left-wing site, showed that Democrats have actually benefited the most from gerrymandering in this ten-year cycle.

Also, the argument that Democrats must destroy democracy to save it is absurd.

Both Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have both railed against the notion of killing the filibuster, but now that the Democrats’ legislative agenda is stuck in the mud, they feel it’s imperative to break from long-established norms.

Biden went as far as comparing his opponents to racist Democrats of the past like Jefferson Davis, Bull Connor, and George Wallace, someone whom Biden lauded when they were both in the Senate.

Even Joe Scarborough of MSNBC ripped Biden’s divisive rhetoric, saying, “I don’t understand, if you’re President of the United States, you’re trying to get people on your side, why you compare them to Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis?”

The Democrats have ten months to coerce enough Senators to kill the filibuster, and the corporate press is going all out to help them.

The New York Times took their propaganda game to the next level with one insane command

Published

It’s obvious the so-called “mainstream” media has zero respect for their readers.

They dropped any façade of impartiality the day Donald Trump was elected.

Now The New York Times is taking their propaganda game up a notch with one insane command.

There’s no doubt leftist reporters have been trying to tell us how to think for decades.

But now their propaganda pushing is so obvious, you’d think The New York Times is part of a state-owned media in some repressive regime.

That was illustrated recently when subscribers received an email with this dictatorial headline: “Here’s how to think about COVID data right now.”

If that wasn’t clear enough, the inside of the email reads: “Here’s how to think about the data in the coming days and weeks.”

Naturally, it linked to an article entitled with the email subject line.

They really want to tell us how to think.

It’s bad enough when so-called “journalists” forget they’re in the news business and start creating stories rather than doing the work of figuring out what’s actually going on in the world.

But this is beyond the pale.

Of course, it’s delivered in a cute chatty style reminiscent of that rare non-combative leftist in college who wanted to lure you over to the dark side.

And have no doubt, a dark and ugly place is exactly where we’ll end up if Americans continue to let the mainstream media do our thinking for us.

If you don’t think that’s what’s happening, consider the purpose of these cute little “how to” articles in the context of all the nonsense we’ve heard about whether democracy can survive with Trump supporters loose in the world.

The idea that anyone who isn’t on the Left shouldn’t be treated like an adult responsible enough to make decisions in this country is deeply embedded in the news media culture.

The venerated leftist journalist Walter Cronkite put it this way.

“We’re an ignorant nation right now,” Cronkite said. “We’re not really capable, I do not think, the majority of our people, of making the decisions that have to be made at election time and particularly in the selection of their legislatures and their Congress and the presidency, of course. I don’t think we’re bright enough to do the job that would preserve our democracy, our republic. I think we’re in serious danger.”

No doubt those who worshiped Cronkite as young idealistic college students are convinced at least half the voters in America aren’t capable of selecting our next President.

They can only hope telling us exactly how to think will ensure we elect their candidate.
