Ron DeSantis administered a major reality check to reporters after the media attempted this smear

Published

The legacy media will attack any Republican they view as even a potential threat.

They’ve been desperate to get something to stick to Ron DeSantis and thought they’d finally found it.

But DeSantis administered a major reality check to reporters after the media attempted this smear.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis doesn’t appreciate false claims that he’s a “little Mussolini.”

Now he’s calling the corporate-controlled media on the carpet for using him as click bait.

While leftist members of the media have made it abundantly clear they don’t like Governor Ron DeSantis, they seem to enjoy the many stories the Florida Republican consistently generates.

Now DeSantis is taking them to task for using his image to generate “more click” about a bill the governor himself isn’t supporting.

The story blew up after Florida State Senator Jason Brodeur introduced a bill that would require bloggers to register with the state if writing about politicians there.

“If a blogger posts to a blog about an elected state officer and receives, or will receive, compensation for that post, the blogger must register” with a state office according to the bill.

“Paid bloggers are lobbyists who write instead of talk. They both are professional electioneers,” Brodeur told Florida Politics. “If lobbyists have to register and report, why shouldn’t paid bloggers?”

But the proposal brought on a firestorm of criticism from numerous figures on the Right concerned about the free speech issue.

Even former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich blew up over the proposal.

“The idea that bloggers criticizing a politician should register with the government is insane,” Gingrich wrote in a Twitter post.

The legacy media fanned the flames.

But DeSantis poured cold water on the smear that left-wing media figures thought would finally stick to the Republican Governor.

The Florida Governor pointed out the truth in a news conference when he was accused of cooking up the scheme.

“There’s articles with my face on the article, saying that ‘Oh, they’re going to have to, bloggers are going to have to register for the state’ and it’s like attributing it [the bill] to me,” DeSantis noted. “That’s not anything that I’ve ever supported, I don’t support [it].”

For all the corporate-controlled media who like to accuse the Florida Governor of being an aspiring dictator, he pointed out that he’s not the only lawmaker in the state.

“The Florida [legislature], 120 of them in the House and however many, and 40 in the Senate, you know, they have independent agency to be able to do things. Like I don’t control every single bill that’s been filed or amended,” DeSantis pointed out.

MSNBC went as far as running a banner across the bottom of the screen during a discussion of the bill that read “DESANTIS EYES ‘PUTIN’ TACTICS WITH CRACKDOWN ON MEDIA.”

And talking heads like NBC presidential historian Michael Beschloss even called DeSantis a “little Mussolini.”

The corporate-controlled media wanted to pretend that Donald Trump’s rise to power in 2016 was a fluke.

But polls consistently show conservatives are fed up with Democrats and RINOs alike.

Now so-called journalists on the Left have added DeSantis to their list of conservatives who need to be taken down at any cost—even if it requires stretching the truth.

Karine Jean-Pierre’s massive failure could mean one huge press briefing change

Karine Jean-Pierre is in over her head as White House press secretary.

Her press conferences range from cringeworthy to disastrous.

And Jean-Pierre’s massive failure could mean one huge press briefing change.

Democrats routinely use celebrities to boost their image and attach their name and likeness to political priorities.

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to do that with the cast of the Apple+ comedy Ted Lasso, but the press briefing went sideways when reporter Simon Ateba asked Jean-Pierre persistent questions.

Ateba, who reports for Today News Africa, has become the bane of Jean-Pierre’s existence, refusing to let her evade certain topics.

During the Ted Lasso train wreck, Ateba said, “This is the U.S. This is not China. This is not Russia. What you’re doing is not right…What you are doing is you’re making a mockery of the First Amendment. It’s been seven months you’ve not called on me.”

Jean-Pierre, mortified to be challenged in front of Hollywood actors, apologized to the Ted Lasso cast.

And now the White House could be pushing for tighter controls on press passes in order to box out reporters like Ateba.

Sources told the Daily Beast that Jean-Pierre “would like a quick return to Obama-era credentialing requirements for hard passes, which take several months to process and allow reporters to regularly enter the White House complex without prior permission.”

In the Obama era, the White House generally only gave press passes to reporters who were accredited by a chamber of Congress or the Supreme Court.

The stricter criteria for hard passes would presumably deny access to a reporter like Ateba.

After the Ted Lasso incident, AP reporter Zeke Miller apologized on behalf of the entire press for Ateba’s “unacceptable” behavior.

He said, “I just want to express our apologies in the press corps to the folks watching at home for the display we saw earlier.  Our responsibility is to them. We’re here to ask questions on their behalf, to hold their government accountable because they can’t all be here. You know, this isn’t about us.”

Ateba is currently suing the White House Correspondents’ Association for denying him membership.

He wrote, “I have decided to take legal action against the White House Correspondents Association since they made false claims against me and my company and did not abide by their own membership guidelines. From now on, I will let my lawyer talk about the case but I will fight like hell because as they sit in the briefing room collecting salaries, they don’t know there are people like me who build companies from scratch. Pray for me.”

The establishment clique will do anything to protect the Biden administration.

Joe Biden made a stunning announcement to reporters that will leave a cold taste in your mouth

Joe Biden’s mental state is quickly declining.

The media doesn’t even try to blame his gaffes on his childhood stutter anymore.

And Joe Biden made a stunning announcement to reporters that will leave a cold taste in your mouth.

Joe Biden shows every day why his approval rating has plummeted.

Joe Biden joked to the press and those in attendance at a Monday White House event, prefacing his first remarks following the horrific mass shooting in Nashville with a tone-deaf joke about ice cream.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband. And I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I’m kidding? I’m not,” Biden told those in attendance.

The room erupted in laughter at his wildly inappropriate joke despite the press at least almost certainly knowing of the tragic news.

Biden then tried to switch gears and call for an “assault” weapons ban.

Biden said, “We’re monitoring the situation really closely…and we have to do more to stop gun violence.  It’s ripping our communities apart, ripping the soul of this nation — ripping at the very soul of the nation.  And we — we have to do more to protect our schools so they aren’t turned into prisons. You know, the shooter in this situation reportedly had two assault weapons and a pistol — two AK-47. So I call on Congress, again, to pass my assault weapons ban. It’s about time that we begin to make some more progress.”

Biden is just spouting gibberish.

The shooter did not have two AK-47s.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was even more irresponsible with her rhetoric.

She said, “How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act to pass the assault weapons ban; to close loopholes in our background check system; or to require the safe storage of guns?”

Weak-kneed RINO politicians have made a habit of responding to recent mass murderers by cutting deals to undermine law-abiding Americans’ rights.

While Mitt Romney types race to offer up their versions of Democrats’ and Gun Control Lobby’s failed “solutions,” when they hear statements like Jean-Pierre’s, most rational Americans are skeptical because they’ve failed time-and-again.

After the Sandy Hook murders, investigators found an opened  gun safe belonging to shooter Adam Lanza’s mother, Nancy Lanza, who was found murdered at the hands of her son, the Hartford Courant reported at the time.

Investigators also reported the school principal Dawn Hochsprung was killed lunging at Lanza – witnesses report, with her hands up,  in an effort to wrestle the murder’s tools away.

Unfortunately the only tools she had were her hands.

A gun in her hands may have stopped him.

Nevertheless, time-and-again establishment media and the politicians who want to grab law-abiding citizens’ guns insist arming potential protectors like Hochsprung wouldn’t work.

But the fact is, where teachers have been armed, it has worked.

CNN doesn’t want you to know one stunning thing about the Nashville shooter

Published

The so-called mainstream media are in damage control mode over the devastating Nashville shooting.

Democrats and their media allies are looking to spin the narrative.

And CNN doesn’t want you to know one stunning thing about the Nashville shooter.

Six people—three nine-year-olds and three adults—are dead after a horrific mass shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville.

And one detail about the shooting that has vexed the Democrats is the fact that the shooter was transgender.

The shooter, who was born female, used “he/him” pronouns on social media.

Immediately, the corporate press tripped all over itself to make sure that the killer was not “misgendered.”

The New York Times wrote, “There was confusion later on Monday about the gender identity of the assailant in the Nashville shooting…Officials had used ‘she’ and ‘her’ to refer to the suspect, who, according to a social media post and a LinkedIn profile, appeared to identify as a man in recent months.”

CNN went one step further and tried to memory-hole that aspect altogether.

During a segment on CNN This Morning with Don Lemon, analyst Juliet Kayyem said, “Look, pronouns do not kill children, people with guns kill children. And it’s going to be a distraction in our coverage and keep us from what we now know, which is [that] each of these cases has a similarity of more than any difference.”

CNN wants to focus on guns and not the mental illness or ideology of the shooter.

Transgender individuals have been propagandized by radicals who tell them that they are the target of a mass genocide that is underway.

It’s not surprising why such insane rhetoric would spur some to violence.

Also, women taking testosterone in order to “transition” can experience fits of rage.

Helena Kershner, a young woman who de-transitioned, wrote in a harrowing Substack piece, “The anger started as a smoldering anger at first. I found myself feeling more irritable, less able to put up with the little things that bothered me about other people. I was uncomfortable with my newfound tendency to get bent out of shape at everybody so I started isolating myself, trying to hide this awful person I thought I was turning out to be. I didn’t make the connection between this and the testosterone, I just thought I was a bad person.”

Kershner mentions several times how the testosterone—or T as it’s called in the trans community—gave her violent urges, which have all subsided since de-transitioning.

The Democrats and their media allies do not want to have a deeper conversation about what happened in Nashville.
