The corporate-controlled press is defending the rioting and looting that tore apart the country in 2020.

Over $2 billion in property damage was caused by the carnage.

Now the media is telling a dangerous lie about new anti-riot bills sweeping across red states.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is strengthening his claim for the title of Best Governor in America.

DeSantis cleaned up election shenanigans that plagued the 2018 midterms, banned Critical Race Theory, kept his state open amid COVID-19 hysteria, and he led the way on anti-rioting bills that are sweeping across red states.

But not everyone is happy about legislation to crack down on rioting – the so-called “mainstream” media are demonizing the moves by Republican legislatures.

NPR host Mary Louise Kelly said:

“Governor DeSantis says what he has signed, and I’ll quote him, ‘is the strongest anti-looting, anti-rioting, pro-law enforcement piece of legislation in the country.’ He is framing this as support for police. And I want to note that most of the protests in Florida, as elsewhere in the last year, were peaceful. There were some incidents of violence, yes, but mostly peaceful. But this is a message that will resonate, and clearly is, among Republicans across the country.”

Kelly is playing the “mostly peaceful” card.

According to the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), roughly 7% of protests were violent.

However, the ACLED said there were approximately 10,600 protests between May 24th and August 22nd alone – that means there were over 700 violent protests around the country.

People don’t care about peaceful assemblies.

They care about rioting, looting, blocking freeways, shouting customers out of restaurants, and disturbing suburban neighborhoods.

The corporate-controlled press can use the phrase “mostly peaceful” all they want.

The American people saw what happened last year with their own eyes, and they didn’t like it.

Even Democrats are getting fed up.

Ted Wheeler, the feckless mayor of Portland, may have finally reached his breaking point with Antifa sacking his city.

Wheeler recently said, “People are sick and they are tired of destruction and I’m encouraging the public to help . . . Our job is to unmask them, arrest them, and prosecute them.”

If Portland is sick of the mayhem, red states like Florida are far past that point.

Joe Biden finally addressed the joint sessions of Congress, and he predictably was a disaster.

Republican Senator Tim Scott stole the moment with his rebuttal to Biden’s address.

And the Fake News Media attacked Tim Scott with one disgusting smear.

South Carolina Senator Tim Scott rankles the Left more than most Republicans because he’s black.

Black Republicans, conservatives, and even heterodox liberals destroy the Left’s entire narrative about “systemic racism” in America.

That’s why the corporate-controlled press has attacked Scott so viciously after his rebuttal to Biden’s address.

Twitter allowed the despicable hashtag “Uncle Tim” to trend on its site, and Washington Post “fact checker” Glenn Kessler, who’s essentially gone dark since Biden took office, ran a hit piece on Scott’s family origin.

But that didn’t stop the corporate-controlled press from doubling down on the all-out assault on Scott.

Kessler again pushed his hit piece on Scott during an NPR segment, and the race-hustling usual suspects in the so-called “mainstream” media went to work.

MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross probably had the most vile commentary on Scott.

Cross said:

“Tim Scott does not represent any constituency other than the small number of sleepy slow-witted sufferers of Stockholm Syndrome who get elevated to prominence for repeating a false narrative about this country that makes conservative white people feel comfortable . . . And moreover, a lesson I’ve learned: Don’t argue with people Harriet Tubman would have left behind.”

Cross is too daft to realize she’s explaining herself – she has a prominent position at a news channel owned by a multinational corporation, and she gets paid to lie about how terrible America is.

Only in America can people become rich and famous for running down the country in the most uncharitable terms.

Leftists say they care about people of color and women and any other identity group outside of the straight, white male . . . unless they disagree with the Left.

Then they get the Tim Scott treatment.

South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott delivered the GOP response to Joe Biden’s first address to Congress.

Millions of Americans praised Scott’s speech.

But predictably it did not go over well with the Left and you’ll be red with rage when you see what Rachel Maddow said about Tim Scott’s response to Joe Biden.

Led by Rachel Maddow, the entire MSNBC panel trashed South Carolina Senator Tim Scott’s Republican response to Joe Biden’s address to Congress.

Maddow picked up on a now familiar trope in the corporate-controlled media, which is to proclaim anything that Republicans say as false and misleading because it contradicts the context by which Democrats phrase their talking points.

In particular, Maddow took aim at Scott blasting Joe Biden for lying about Georgia’s new election integrity law, which increased the number of days of early voting and required voter id when requesting and submitting mail-in ballots.

Joe Biden falsely claimed this was Jim Crow 2.0 whereas Scott noted the GOP wanted to make it easier to vote, but harder to cheat.

“It’s going to be hard for most people that are paying any attention to politics to swallow the ‘Republicans support making it easier to vote’ line,” Maddow scoffed.

Maddow doubled down on the corporate-controlled media framing of American politics that Democrat Party talking points represent reality and Republican positions amount to alternate reality.

“There’s some stuff there that may make sense in a sliver of Republican world,” Maddow added. “But in the news world, I don’t think it will ring.”

MSNBC’s racist host Joy Reid went even further casting Scott’s speech as nothing more than white supremacist talking points.

“This was standard Republican pablum. This could have been delivered by Tom Cotton or Mike Lee. ‘America’s not a racist country.’ ‘There’s no racism here.’ I’m not sure what the purpose of this was. His audience to me appeared to be conservative white Republicans who are angry over certain things, of cancel culture and the same sort of cultural nods that we hear on Fox News. And he was out here to throw them a lifeline,” Reid stated.

Reid added that she was “shocked and a bit embarrassed” for Scott.

While Tim Scott is not the most conservative member of the Republican Party – he is working with Democrats on anti-police legislation – Democrats still hate Scott because he is a black Republican who rejects the Left’s lie that America is a racist country and that big government handouts are the only path to success for minorities.
