The corporate-controlled press has been atrocious for a long time.

And it’s not just conservatives acknowledging it.

Now Jon Stewart ripped the media to shreds for what they did during the Trump era.

Jon Stewart changed the game with his version of The Daily Show, which blended comedy and humor.

Even though Stewart is a liberal, he was at least willing to call out people on his side of the aisle.

But since then, late night comedians have devolved into bad political pundits for the Democrat Party.

Now Stewart is back with a new show on Apple+, and he’s again shown a willingness to dish out punishment to the Left.

During a recent episode of The Problem with Jon Stewart, he took aim at the media, and how they covered Donald Trump, particularly the Russiagate story.

Stewart said, “Unfortunately, if [the media] are the one thing that stand between America and chaos, we are in trouble. Because rarely has there been an institution that has such a distance between its aspirations and its execution. And thus, the problem with the media. The media keeps informing us how incredibly important they are to our survival. Because knowing keeps us free. But when given crucial informational tasks, they instead build us prisons of: what the f*ck are you people talking about?”

Stewart ripped the endless cycle of “bombshell” reports that were ridiculously hedged with “if true.”

He said, “Bombshell. Bombshell, detective has questions. Bombshell, hungry people like food. Bombshell. I also have a question: do you think we are f*cking stupid? That’s the responsible, measured way they handled something they actually knew. And then it started getting weird… There were so many ‘if trues’ in there it was like a high-stakes tarot reading.”

Stewart also added that the press built up the Mueller investigation as if Trump and his entire family were going to be frog-marched out of the White House, then Mueller released his report and it was a nothing-burger.

Stewart explained, “You motherf*ckers spent two years filled with breaking bombshells and urgent explosions and teed up a season finale for the ages. A noose-tightened, closed-walled, family-style jail-gasm. And all we got was a fucking book report that we had to print ourselves. I owe the producers of Lost an apology. This was the worst finale ever.”

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow had to fight tears when she finally reported that the Mueller report did not turn up any evidence of Russian collusion.

Stewart also included a humorous mash-up that nailed the true motivation of the corporate-controlled press.

Stewart is saying what few people on the Left are willing to do.

The so-called “mainstream” media decided to openly become an advocacy group for the DNC, and the country is suffering for it.

Bill Maher is close to being excommunicated from the Left.

He refuses to go along with the groupthink that has taken over the Democrat Party.

And Maher raised one question about Donald Trump and the war in Ukraine that had leftists steaming mad.

The Democrats are twisting themselves in a knot trying to explain why Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine on Joe Biden’s watch and not while Donald Trump was President.

The Left have argued that Trump was doing everything Putin wanted so there was no need, but liberal comedian Bill Maher isn’t buying that line of thinking.

During a recent monologue on his show Real Time with Bill Maher, the host pondered, “Okay, but if Putin thought Trump was really that supportive of him, why didn’t he invade when Trump was in office? It’s at least worth asking that question if you’re not locked into one intransigent thought.”

Maher is right to ask the question that Democrats dismiss.

The idea that Trump was doing Putin’s bidding is completely counter to the facts.

Trump viewed China as America’s chief geopolitical threat, and he didn’t want Russia to cozy up further with China.

That’s why Trump believed it was in America’s best interest not to be unnecessarily belligerent toward Russia.

But Trump was willing to stand up to Russia.

He sanctioned the Russians, supplied Ukraine with arms, bombed 200 Russian mercenaries in Syria, backed out of a nuclear agreement, and threatened to hit Moscow if Putin invaded Ukraine.

Trump also warned Germany not to be reliant on Russian oil, and the German delegation laughed at him.

Now they’re desperately trying to divest from Russian oil after over a decade of foolish investment in green energy.

Putin invaded Georgia during George W. Bush’s Presidency, annexed Crimea when Barack Obama was in office, and now he’s launched a full-scale war with Biden as President.

Putin knew better than to cross Trump.

Meanwhile, during a January press conference, Biden essentially gave Putin the greenlight to invade Ukraine, saying, “I think what you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do, et cetera.”

And not long after Biden’s disastrous “minor incursion” line, Putin took the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.

Maher is at least asking the questions that other liberals won’t because they turn off their brains when they consume a steady diet of spoon-fed propaganda from the so-called “mainstream” media.

Leftist “journalists” have spent years doing their level best to destroy Donald Trump.

But the truth always eventually leaks out.

Now there’s new evidence one big shot newscaster was dead wrong.

With new proof Hillary Clinton’s campaign spied on Donald Trump, CBS’ 60 Minutes host Lesley Stahl is under fire.

The 81-year-old broadcaster has been delivering “scoops” for CBS’ premier news show for decades now, but her heavy-handed interview with Donald Trump back in 2020 showed exactly how aggressively she shapes news rather than reporting it.

Donald Trump later described his sit-down interview with Stahl as a “vicious attempted takeout.”

At one point during the interview Trump brought up Hillary’s dirty tactics.

“The biggest scandal was when they spied on my campaign,” Trump said. “They spied on my campaign.”

Stahl immediately fired back.

“There is no real evidence of that,” Stahl said.

“Of course there is, it’s all over the place,” Trump said as Stahl spoke over him saying, “No.”

Trump refused to let her get away with it that easily.

“Lesley, they spied on my campaign, and they got caught,” Trump said.

“Can I say something?” Stahl said, interrupting, “You know, this is 60 Minutes, and we can’t put on things we can’t verify.”

“You won’t put it on because it’s bad for Biden,” Trump argued.

“We can’t put on things we can’t verify,” Stahl said again.

“Then they went much further than that, and they got caught. And you will see that, Lesley, and you know that but you just don’t want,” Trump said before Stahl interrupted again.

“No,” she said. “As a matter of fact, I don’t know that.”

Recent court filings from Special Counsel John Durham provided hard evidence Clinton’s campaign paid a tech executive to head up a team of computer scientists spying on servers inside Trump Tower and the White House.

Of course, Trump enjoyed finally being vindicated saying that Durham’s most recent filing, “provides indisputable evidence that my campaign and presidency were spied on by operatives paid by the Hillary Clinton Campaign in an effort to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia.”

It’s hard to imagine a seasoned journalist like Stahl didn’t know what was going on.

Even cub reporters in small market news stations hoard loads of “off-record” information they can’t air, but that inform the accuracy of their reporting.

It seems highly unlikely one of the most prestigious “journalists” in America with a high-profile “investigative” news program was kept entirely in the dark.

But it’s certainly entertaining to watch Donald Trump continue to take down members of the political establishment’s old guard.
