Democrats are running out of ways to distract the American people.

Their failures have become too striking to ignore.

And Nancy Pelosi’s witch hunt just got some truly embarrassing news.

Democrats are relying on “Orange Man Bad” narratives to save them in the 2022 Midterms.

That’s why they have thrown so much into the January 6 Commission’s hearings, even hiring former ABC News president James Goldston to turn the event into a “made for TV” event.

But the televised hearings are not quite bearing the fruit Democrats had hoped.

In fact, NBC ditched the hearings to cover the U.S. Open and relegated January 6 coverage to its streaming app, which is a content graveyard.

The first of eight scheduled hearings pulled in a total of 19 million viewers, which is half the viewership of the most recent State of the Union Address, which had its viewership boosted by the fact that Russia had just invaded Ukraine.

In other words, there is not widespread appeal for the hearings.

In fact, the 19 million number isn’t even particularly impressive when compared to regular network programming.

“ABC News, a former president of which produced Thursday’s show trial, drew 4.8 million viewers.” NBC and CBS each pulled just more than three million. The legacy networks, then, pulled about 11 million viewers combined Thursday night,” the Federalist explained. “According to AdWeek’s latest analysis of weekly television news ratings for the week of May 30, the broadcast networks’ evening programs collectively averaged nearly 18 million viewers, 7 million more than tuned into Thursday night’s Democrat programming.”

Democrats are hoping the “bombshells” the hearings are supposed to expose — the same “bombshells” that were supposed to end Trump’s Presidency umpteen times — will sway voters and distract them from record-high inflation, record-high illegal border crossings, and a quagmire in Ukraine.

But the arguments presented by Democrats have been known for 15 months.

Everybody knows Trump believes he won the 2020 election, and a small group of his supporters breached the Capitol and fought with security.

Democrats are simply going too far when they’re trying to prove Trump specifically sent those people to the Capitol to overthrow the government.

That is an absurd claim that was already shot down by the FBI.

The January 6 Commission is nothing more than a fishing expedition for the radical Left to try to pull up political dirt they can use against conservatives, specifically Donald Trump.

However, polls show that Democrats are still facing the prospect of a massive red wave in November’s Midterms.

People do not particularly care about who said what in emails when the fundamentals of January 6 are already known.

Nancy Pelosi is pulling out the big guns in an 11th hour bid to shred Donald Trump’s reputation and make him unelectable in 2024. 

She’s hired the ultimate spin doctor to help perpetuate the January 6 lies she’s been peddling.

And she’s burning your tax dollars in a desperate bid to take out Trump once and for all.

Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 committee is a witch hunt she desperately wants to leverage to end Donald Trump’s political career. 

Those serving to do her will include some of her most loyal leftist sidekicks alongside some ambitious RINO’s who care more about making Democrats love them than staying true to promises they made back home. 

Even though they’ve poked and prodded every possible “witness” it seems they’re not convinced the facts they’ve supposedly uncovered will win the day. 

Now, January 6 committee members have enlisted former ABC News president James Goldston to help produce a prime time “Blockbuster Investigative Special” about the committee’s findings. 

Goldston used to oversee Good Morning America and Nightline. 

Now, Axios’ Mike Allen is reporting that Goldston has been working as an “unannounced advisor” for the House Committee. 

 “He plans to make it raw enough so that skeptical journalists will find the material fresh, and chew over the disclosures in future coverage,” Allen reported. “He wants it to draw the eyeballs of Americans who haven’t followed the ins and outs of the Capitol riot probe.”

This is just the latest stunt from Pelosi’s kangaroo court. 

When President Trump was in office, the Speaker coordinated with RINOs for a sham impeachment. 

It’s telling that no matter how hard leftists try, their most outlandish accusations against Trump simply don’t stick. 

But at the end of the day, truth isn’t the most important element for leftists. 

With the help of the corporate-controlled media, they can throw an election with nothing more than bald-faced lies.

No matter how much or how little Goldston is being paid for his furtive help, producing any sort of high-quality newsmagazine style production is incredibly expensive even from a technical standpoint.

In fact, back in 2013—long before Bidenflation took over the country—Hollywood Reporter revealed producing a single segment of 60 Minutes can cost $200,000 or more.

We can only imagine how much the same kind of talent is charging in an all-out attempt to take out Donald Trump on the taxpayer’s dime.

There’s a fair amount of arrogance to go around in the Bay area. 

It’s home to some of the biggest tech executives, most powerful politicians, and, apparently, one of the cockiest local newspaper editorial teams around. 

Now, Nancy Pelosi has them going after the Pope. 

San Francisco’s Catholic archbishop finally took a long overdue step last Friday when he officially informed Nancy Pelosi that she can’t take Holy Communion as long as she remains set on codifying Roe v. Wade.

“You are not to present yourself for Holy Communion and, should you do so, you are not to be admitted to Holy Communion,” Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone wrote in a letter to Pelosi. 

While perhaps surprising he finally got around to it, the move wasn’t shocking considering that abortion runs counter to the official core beliefs of the Catholic church. 

But the San Francisco Examiner editorial board has assigned itself judge and jury over the doctrine of the oldest church on the planet. 

Now they’re demanding that the Pope himself remove Cordileone from his position.

 “Cordileone’s chief loyalty is not to Christ, but to the cabal of far-right American bishops led by Raymond Leo Burke, a Catholic prelate who has led a continual campaign to undermine Pope Francis’ authority,” they wrote.

Last we checked there isn’t a version of the New Testament out there quoting Jesus explaining how Christians are supposed to support the rich and powerful no matter how corrupt their values. 

But apparently, they didn’t get that memo and confused Jesus with a political campaign manager. 

“We repeat the call for Pope Francis to remove him and replace him with a leader who can unify rather than divide,” the editorial board wrote. “Cordileone’s radical conservative politics might attract more people to the faith in places like Oklahoma or Texas, but his partisan pomposity will win no converts in San Francisco.”

This isn’t the Archbishop’s first go with irreverent leftists. 

Last year he didn’t bring up names but sent a clear message to Pelosi and Biden in a pastoral letter writing that “if you find that you are unwilling or unable to abandon your advocacy for abortion, you should not come forward to receive Holy Communion.”  

While doctrine is on the archbishop’s side, it’s unclear if efforts from Pelosi and her minions to jump rank will work. 

After his most recent visit to the Vatican, Joe Biden claimed the Pope said he could continue to take communion.

Then again, the reliability of what comes out of Joe Biden’s mouth is entirely uncertain.
