The corporate-controlled press is desperate to cover up Joe Biden’s failures.

Self-proclaimed “journalists” have been attempting to happy-talk their way through economic woes.

Now a New York Times’ hack just sacrificed his last shred of dignity to talk up the Biden economy.

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman is the man the Left calls up anytime they need a so-called “economist” to put a smiley face on Democrats’ economic crap sandwich.

Krugman, whose record on economic predictions is roughly the same as the Washington Generals’ record against the Harlem Globetrotters, wrote a recent column entitled, “Election Deniers Are Also Economy Deniers.”

The thrust of every single Krugman column is the same – Democrats good, Republicans bad.

Whenever a Democrat is in office, the economy is roaring along stronger than at any point in history thanks to endless socialist spending sprees, more regulation, and increased taxes, which is obviously nonsensical and a level of reality distortion few even thought possible.

Even though the stock market had its worst year since 2008, Krugman wants people to believe that all is well.

“There wasn’t a recession in 2022,” Krugman claimed. “Indeed, the U.S. economy ended the year with continuing strong job growth and the unemployment rate all the way back down to what it was before Covid.”

Put simply, that is factually incorrect.

The country faced two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth in 2022, which was the textbook definition of recession until Democrats and the legacy media decided they could just change the definition once it was clear the Biden regime had plunged America into a recession.

And most every actual, real economist and finance expert is projecting an even worse recession will hit in 2023.

“What about inflation?” Krugman added. “The price surge of 2021-22, coming after decades of low inflation, was a nasty shock, and I don’t want to minimize either the size of that shock or the extent to which many economists, myself included, failed to see it coming.”

“But have they noticed that inflation has been coming down?” he continued.

Kudos to Krugman for admitting he got one prediction completely wrong, even if he’s repeatedly failed to take accountability for his decades of other completely wrong predictions.

But he gets to be wrong because he doesn’t put his money where his mouth is, and the left-wing propaganda machine needs folks like him.

No matter how many times he’s wrong, he gets to keep his cushy New York Times gig so long as he writes that Democrats are good, and Republicans are bad.

He also left out the key detail that inflation is “down” from 40-year highs.

There are still massive problems in the economy that have only been exacerbated by the Biden regime and Democrats.

“A decline in wage growth doesn’t mean that inflation is cooling off,” Peter Schiff, an economist who correctly predicted the 2008 crash, explained. “It just shows that workers are falling even further behind as inflation heats up. That’s why job growth will continue as more already employed people are forced to take second and third jobs just to keep pace.”

Don’t be caught off-guard by rosy projections from hacks like Paul Krugman that are not based in reality.

These days, honesty and “journalism” have become mutually exclusive.

The American people simply cannot trust anything that comes from self-proclaimed “journalists.”

But a CNN reporter just sent shockwaves through Washington, D.C. by daring to utter this truth.

Apparently, at least one person over at CNN got the memo that they’re at least supposed to pretend to be “journalists” again.

As Democrats and RINOs everywhere pretend the misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act” is some sort of win for Americans, one CNN reporter broke down and blurted out the unvarnished truth.

During an episode of New Day John Harwood broke down and said out loud what every Washington D.C. insider already knows – the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” was a bait and switch scheme designed to lure Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) into letting the radical Left have their way with the country.

“They call it the Inflation Reduction Act as a marketing device in part to lock down the vote of Joe Manchin,” Harwood explained. “To reassure Joe Manchin that they were focused on his issue.”

Harwood went on to note that the new tax package will have a “negligible” effect on inflation.

In reality, it’s a trojan horse for every central planning leftist scheme and special interest under the sun.

But there’s only so much we can expect from a CNN reporter.

The New Day piece also included clips from several prominent Democrats, who floundered as they tried to explain how this bill is supposed to help Americans being crushed by the worst inflation in more than 40 years.

You have to wonder whether this sudden flirtation with honesty was a mistake or if rumors of Brian Stelter’s demise had already made it into office gossip, and frightened the show’s crew into airing a bit of truth for their news starved audience.

After years of failing to live up to its name, Brian Stelter’s Reliable Sources show has been canceled and the egotistical host canned.

Speculation over who is likely to be put on the chopping block next is rife within the corporate-controlled media world, and CNN’s New Day has been struggling over the past year to keep up with the ratings produced by the popular Fox and Friends morning show on Fox News.

The near-bankrupt Corrupt News Network was supposed to turn around with a new boss at the helm, but during his first weeks on the job, new CEO Chris Licht saw viewership drop by a full percentage point.

Reporting the truth would certainly be a brilliant strategy to convince more viewers to tune in, but it’s unlikely a tried and true corporate-controlled media type, like John Harwood, will be able to pull off a repeat performance on a regular basis.

But someone did.

And you won’t believe why NBC suspended one big name reporter.

NBC Sunday Night Football sideline reporter Michelle Tafoya returned this past week after a three-week absence.

Tafoya also announced she was stepping away from sideline reporting after this season.

Both NBC and Tafoya claimed her disappearing from the air was just a routine break.

The Ringer’s Bill Simmons thought otherwise.

Simmons believed NBC suspended Tafoya for Tafoya criticizing Colin Kaepernick when Tafoya guest hosted The View in early November.

“There’s some good conspiracy stuff going on about this,” Simmons stated. “Because she hosted The View at the beginning of November. She was in the conservative seat, then a couple weeks later, all of a sudden, just on a bye. Taking a break.”

Simmons added that Tafoya only works 17 weeks a year and no one takes an in-season break when working NFL broadcasts.

“It would be one thing if the show was on 52 weeks a year, but it’s only on 17 weeks a year. Do you need three weeks off during a 17-week season?” Simmons continued.

Tafoya is a libertarian-leaning conservative that The View contracted to guest host and fill in the seat for a right-leaning host that Megan McCain vacated.

On the show, Tafoya ripped Kaepernick for comparing the NFL draft combine to slavery.

Tafoya pointed out the obvious truth that unlike chattel slavery, no one forces anyone to play football.

In response to criticism that the owners blacklisted Kaepernick from the league over his national anthem protest, Tafoya promised that if any owner thought Kaepernick could still play quarterback at a high level some team would have signed Kaepernick.

Tafoya disappearing from Sunday Night Football lines up with these comments.

And it’s not uncommon for TV networks to quietly suspend anchors or reporters following a controversy.

NBC would not want to make it public that it suspended a right-leaning reporter for criticizing Colin Kaepernick.

But it would not be the first time that NBC fired a conservative for on-air comments.

Back in 2018, NBC fired Megyn Kelly after Megyn Kelly criticized the woke outrage mob coming after Halloween costumes following internal pressure from the network’s left-wing staffers.

Bill Simmons believes something similar happened to Michelle Tafoya.
