Federal agents already seized Eric Swalwell's phone and laptop weeks ago.
Nobody had actually seen it happen, until now.
New footage just revealed exactly how it went down.
The Footage Shows Agents Closing In Within Minutes of Landing
The clip, obtained by the California Post and published Tuesday by The Gateway Pundit and Daily Wire, shows Swalwell landing at San Francisco International on August 15 in sneakers, black sweatpants, a black baseball cap and a hoodie pulled up over his head.
It did not work.
Agents close in within minutes of him clearing the jet bridge and seize his phone and his laptop "without incident," escorting him to a private area of the airport as stunned travelers walk past.
The next day, investigators executed a search warrant at his Washington, D.C. home for more devices.
This is the same seizure that made headlines weeks ago.
What changed Tuesday is that the public can finally watch it happen instead of just reading about it.
Swalwell has since put out a statement that reads less like a denial than a hedge.
"I will fight the serious false allegations made against me," he said. "However, I must take responsibility and ownership for the mistakes I did make."
A Resignation in April Did Not End the Federal Investigation
This did not start in August.
More than 50 former staffers signed a letter back in April calling the allegations against him "serious, credible" and demanding he resign, writing that "what has been described is not a political attack, it is the account of a young woman who trusted her employer."
One accuser says an assault followed a night of drinking during which she questioned her own ability to consent, and three additional women have said they received unsolicited nude photos and graphic messages from him.
Swalwell resigned from Congress days later under the threat of expulsion and withdrew from the California governor's race he had just entered.
The Manhattan District Attorney's office opened its own investigation not long after.
Walking away from Congress and the governor's race was supposed to be the end of it.

The Spy Documents That Surfaced the Same Week as the Airport Video
The timing here is not a coincidence.
The same week the airport seizure made news, the White House declassified FBI records showing Swalwell acknowledged "physical relations" with Christine "Fang Fang" Fang, a Chinese national U.S. intelligence officials believed was working as a spy for Beijing, with their last contact dated to March 2015.
Democrats quietly removed him from the House Intelligence Committee once that relationship became public years ago.
Now the underlying paperwork is public too, landing in the same week federal agents were photographed closing in on him at an airport.
A Political Career That Ended in April, a Federal Case That Did Not
Ask yourself why the FBI is still doing this months after Swalwell already quit.
Resigning from Congress and dropping a governor's bid usually ends a story like this.
Federal agents seizing a former congressman's devices in broad daylight at a major airport, months after he already walked away, is what happens when prosecutors think there is still something to find.

Video of it circulating today is another, and it lands on a man who has already lost his seat and his campaign trying to explain why that still was not enough to make this go away.
