White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is off to greener pastures.

Instead of lying for Joe Biden at the podium, she will be doing it behind an MSNBC desk for considerably more money.

And Psaki’s replacement just gave the most cringeworthy presser ever.

Jen Psaki is taking off her partisan mask and putting on her “objective” mask as news host for MSNBC.

Her replacement is Karine Jean-Pierre, who’s probably further to the Left than Psaki.

And her formal introduction as White House Press Secretary was a disaster.

The only worse pressers occurred when an Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at George W. Bush in 2008, and when Pennsylvania State Treasurer Budd Dwyer shot himself in the head amid major corruption allegations in 1987.

Jean-Pierre kicked off the question-and-answer portion of the press conference by announcing her intersectional identities.

Jean-Pierre said, “I just want to say a few words about how honored I am to be here with all of you today in this role, in this room, standing behind this podium. I am obviously acutely aware that my presence at this podium represents a few firsts.  I am a Black, gay, immigrant woman, the first of all three of those to hold this position.”

It only went downhill from there.

Fox News host Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre about Biden’s assertion that inflation can be solved by rich people paying their fair share.

Jean-Pierre responded with gobbledygook that did not come close to answering the question.

She said, “Look, you know, we have talked about — we have talked about this this past year, about making sure that the wealthiest among us are paying their fair share.  And that is important to do.  And that is something that, you know, the President has been, you know, working on every day when we talk about inflation and lowering costs. And so it’s very important that, you know, as we’re seeing costs rise, as we’re talking about how to, you know — you know, build an America that is safe, that’s equal for everyone, and doesn’t leave anyone behind, that is an important part of that as well.”

Press secretaries can be expected to spin answers toward the administration’s priorities, but she didn’t even attempt to make a segue.

Biden’s “fair share” argument is an obvious misdirection from his failed policies.

Biden made inflation worse by pumping stimulus into an economy that was already overheated.

Taxing the rich and spending more money does nothing to tamp down inflation.

Even Jeff Bezos, who is a reliable Democrat donor, called out Biden for his ridiculous economic analysis.

The ideas of the Left are utterly incoherent.

Yet, Democrats willfully go along with all of the crazy ideas.

And one new journalistic standard proves the Democrats are complete liars on one issue.

The Democrats are hopping mad over the abortion issue, which was rekindled after a Supreme Court leak of a draft opinion from Samuel Alito that suggests the overturning of Roe V. Wade.

The new battle over abortion has brought women’s issues front and center for the Left, but there is a glaring omission in their progressive rhetoric.

Suddenly, transgender men and nonsense terms like “birth people” are no longer part of the conversation.

The Associated Press Style Guide tried to clean up this obvious contradiction by issuing a new update.

The AP Style Guide update read, “Phrasing like pregnant people or people who seek an abortion seeks to include people who have those experiences but do not identify as women, such as some transgender men and some nonbinary people. Such phrasing should be confined to stories that specifically address the experiences of people who do not identify as women.” 

In other words, it is okay to “erase” trans men and dispatch with idiotic terms like “pregnant persons” and “people who give birth.”

Democrats don’t want any distractions from their over-the-top pro-abortion zealotry.

The style guide update is a clear example of how Democrats will manipulate language in any way they can to achieve political power.

For example, in light of the 2020 Reign of Terror, the AP Style Guide suggested that outlets capitalize “black” when describing people of African descent.

The out-of-the-blue update made no sense other than to somehow contribute to the cultural “reparations” in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.

Democrats are now trotting out the “my body, my choice” line that they abandoned during the peak of COVID hysteria when they were forcing people to take an experimental vaccine.

It’s quite stunning to witness the mental gymnastics of the Left when killing babies is at stake. 

They have already renewed talks of packing the Supreme Court.

Luckily for them, Merriam Webster added a new definition of “court-packing” to dovetail with the newfangled Democrat definition of simply restoring ideological balance to the court.

That is utter nonsense.

The Democrats want the Supreme Court to remain a liberal super-legislature that will codify into law the agenda they can’t pass through Congress.

The Left have destroyed their credibility by torturing logic to such a hideous extent.

Democrats are desperate to distract from Joe Biden’s abysmal record.

They believe they’ve found a winning issue based on an unprecedented Supreme Court leak.

Now, one Democrat congresswoman went on CNN and embarrassed herself with one statement about the leak.

Democrats are in full-blown meltdown mode after a Supreme Court leak of a draft opinion strongly suggested the court is prepared to overturn Roe V. Wade.

The Left are attempting to use the abortion issue to drum up support for the midterms, and the so-called mainstream media are aiding the Democrats in their effort.

Far-left Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal went on CNN with Victor Blackwell and argued, “These Justices are acting like this is somehow something that they have the right to change. They do not have the right to change this…”

However, Jayapal is entirely wrong.

The Supreme Court does indeed have the right to overturn Roe and send the abortion issue back to the states, which was the state of play before the 1973 decision.

Jayapal then tried to argue that Roe was settled law, but many decisions have been overturned.

For example, the Dred Scott decision and Plessy V. Ferguson were both terrible examples of “precedent” that were later overturned by a Constitutional amendment and a subsequent Supreme Court ruling.

In a recent concurrence, Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote, “Stare decisis isn’t supposed to be the art of methodically ignoring what everyone knows to be true. Of course, the precedents of this Court warrant our deep respect as embodying the considered views of those who have come before. But stare decisis has never been treated as ‘an inexorable command.’” 

Roe was a bad law, and even honest liberals will admit it.

Left-wing legal scholar Laurence Tribe once wrote, “One of the most curious things about Roe is that, behind its own verbal smokescreen, the substantive judgment on which it rests is nowhere to be found.”

The entire basis for Roe rests on “penumbras, formed by emanations” found within the Constitution.

The Constitutional right to an abortion was a legal fiction created by activist Supreme Court judges.

If the draft opinion indeed carries, then all 50 states will get to determine their own abortion laws.

Democrats only care about democracy when it suits them.
