Mayor Pete Buttigieg lashed out on CNN with a head-scratching attempt to save his political career

Published

Pete Buttigieg’s political career is on the ropes.

His aspirations of becoming President have run into a brick wall.

And Mayor Pete Buttigieg lashed out on CNN with a head-scratching attempt to save his political career.

CNN gave Pete Buttigieg the platform to do damage control.

And “Mayor Pete”evidently thought hurling a laughable insult at Tucker Carlson was the best way to do that.

Even before the latest scandal, where his relationship with a Maryland Mayor accused of sex crimes involving depictions of children was brought to light, Buttigieg has had a disastrous run as Transportation Secretary.

The top DOT job is supposed to be a low-profile appointment.

But on Buttigieg’s watch, he has had train derailments, supply chain snarls, airline employee revolts, and an embarrassing scandal where he went on paternity leave for two months and nobody noticed.

He also got busted for flying around on private jets, marking the second time he was busted for being a climate change phony.

In another incident, he was seen climbing out of a gas-guzzling SUV with his bicycle so he could ride to work for a photo op.

Buttigieg’s response to the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, was devastating to his political ambitions.

And his response has been to turn the criticisms against him back at Republicans.

Mayor Pete tried to smear Fox News host Tucker Carlson as an east coast elitist in order to cover his own elitism.

Buttigieg said on CNN, “It’s really rich to see some of these folks – the former President, these Fox hosts – who are literally lifelong card-carrying members of the East Coast elite, whose top economic policy priority has always been tax cuts for the wealthy, and who wouldn’t know their way around a T.J. Maxx if their life depended on it, to be presenting themselves as if they genuinely care about the forgotten middle of the country…You think Tucker Carlson knows the difference between a T.J. Maxx and a Kohl’s?”

Buttigieg lashed out after people noticed the fancy boots he wore on his trip to East Palestine.

It’s also laughable that Buttigieg wants people to think that he knows the difference between T.J. Maxx and Kohl’s.

Buttigieg’s “man of the people” act does not work at all, especially when his only base of support is white college-educated women.

Meanwhile, he polls abysmally with virtually every other demographic.

It also doesn’t help that he was throwing opulent fundraisers.

Buttigieg is fighting for his political future, and he is losing the battle.

There may be no coming back from his terrible run as Transportation Secretary.

Don Lemon had CNN producers desperate to cut to commercial after this comment caught everyone off guard

Don Lemon is on thin ice at CNN.

He is hanging onto his job by a thread.

And Lemon had CNN producers desperate to cut to commercial after this comment caught everyone off guard.

Don Lemon’s demotion from primetime to mornings has probably been the third most humiliating thing that’s happened to the anchor recently.

He was pulled over the air for a few days after saying that women in their 50s were “past their prime.”

If Lemon weren’t high on the intersectional hierarchy for being black and gay, he probably would’ve already been fired from CNN.

Now Lemon stepped all over the Democrats’ gun control narrative by bringing up the identity of the Nashville shooter.

The killer, who murdered three nine-year-olds and three adults, identified as transgender; the shooter was born a female but used “he/him” pronouns on social media.

During a segment on CNN This Morning, Lemon said to network analyst Juliette Kayyem, “Juliette, let’s um, talk about the thing that everyone is talking about. Everyone is thinking, but they don’t want to talk about. And that is the identity of the shooter, okay? And it’s a member of the LGBTQ  community. I think this is important to bring up.”

Kayyem was probably stunned that Lemon went there.

Whenever mass shooters are sympathetic in the eyes of the Left, the Democrats laser-focus on gun control or the societal forces that led the killer to slaughter innocent people.

Kayeem responded, “Look, pronouns do not kill children, people with guns kill children. And it’s going to be a distraction in our coverage and keep us from what we now know, which is [that] each of these cases has a similarity of more than any difference.”

Leftists are contorting themselves even more than usual in where they cast the blame for senseless murders.

Usually when a deranged killer – as is typically the case – doesn’t turn out to fit the Left’s narrative, it doesn’t matter to Democrats and the media.  Who and what are to blame is set in stone in their eyes.

As long as the murderer looks like they fit their preconceived notion, leftist media think they can brute force the public into blaming guns and ultimately the political right.

If not, they will anyway, then memory hole it before too much of the truth gets out.

This time it’s different but it’s not. Somehow, leftist are trying to falsely hang blame on guns and the political right yet again.

The Democrat Media Complex is running with the narrative that supposed anti-transgender bigotry at the hand of Christians are responsible.

Nothing could be further from the truth, but they don’t want to level with the public and report that a deranged transgender person murdered kids at a Christian school.

CNN doesn’t want you to know one stunning thing about the Nashville shooter

The so-called mainstream media are in damage control mode over the devastating Nashville shooting.

Democrats and their media allies are looking to spin the narrative.

And CNN doesn’t want you to know one stunning thing about the Nashville shooter.

Six people—three nine-year-olds and three adults—are dead after a horrific mass shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville.

And one detail about the shooting that has vexed the Democrats is the fact that the shooter was transgender.

The shooter, who was born female, used “he/him” pronouns on social media.

Immediately, the corporate press tripped all over itself to make sure that the killer was not “misgendered.”

The New York Times wrote, “There was confusion later on Monday about the gender identity of the assailant in the Nashville shooting…Officials had used ‘she’ and ‘her’ to refer to the suspect, who, according to a social media post and a LinkedIn profile, appeared to identify as a man in recent months.”

CNN went one step further and tried to memory-hole that aspect altogether.

During a segment on CNN This Morning with Don Lemon, analyst Juliet Kayyem said, “Look, pronouns do not kill children, people with guns kill children. And it’s going to be a distraction in our coverage and keep us from what we now know, which is [that] each of these cases has a similarity of more than any difference.”

CNN wants to focus on guns and not the mental illness or ideology of the shooter.

Transgender individuals have been propagandized by radicals who tell them that they are the target of a mass genocide that is underway.

It’s not surprising why such insane rhetoric would spur some to violence.

Also, women taking testosterone in order to “transition” can experience fits of rage.

Helena Kershner, a young woman who de-transitioned, wrote in a harrowing Substack piece, “The anger started as a smoldering anger at first. I found myself feeling more irritable, less able to put up with the little things that bothered me about other people. I was uncomfortable with my newfound tendency to get bent out of shape at everybody so I started isolating myself, trying to hide this awful person I thought I was turning out to be. I didn’t make the connection between this and the testosterone, I just thought I was a bad person.”

Kershner mentions several times how the testosterone—or T as it’s called in the trans community—gave her violent urges, which have all subsided since de-transitioning.

The Democrats and their media allies do not want to have a deeper conversation about what happened in Nashville.

CNN just reached peak “woke” stupidity with a wild claim of racism

The Left have let the radicals loose on society.

And they are spreading chaos wherever they go.

Now CNN just reached peak “woke” stupidity with a wild claim of racism.

The Left are constantly pouring cultural poison into the American mainstream.

The latest goofy idea that is being given a trial run is a concept called “digital blackface,” which is when someone who’s white uses a nonwhite gif or meme when sending a text message or social media post.

Last year, Women’s Health tried to normalize the idiotic concept, and now CNN has picked up the topic.

CNN tracked down author and cultural critic Lauren Michele Jackson, who wrote an essay on the very, very serious problem of digital blackface.

Jackson said that digital blackface “includes displays of emotion stereotyped as excessive: so happy, so sassy, so ghetto, so loud…our dial is on 10 all the time — rarely are black characters afforded subtle traits or feelings.”

It didn’t stop there.

CNN reported that “critics say digital blackface is wrong because it’s a modern-day repackaging of minstrel shows, a racist form of entertainment popular in the 19th century.”

So posting a humorous gif is now equivalent to a minstrel show.

This is what happens when students go six figures into debt for a worthless critical studies degree.

They are experts in nonsense.

Jackson added, “We are your sass, your nonchalance, your fury, your delight, your annoyance, your happy dance, your diva, your shade, your ‘yaas’ moments…The weight of reaction GIFing, period, rests on our shoulders.”

The civil rights movement was composed of serious people.

Today activists like Jackson pale in comparison.

Worse, their terrible ideas like “digital blackface” go largely unchallenged by the mainstream media.

CNN quoted Erinn Wong, another “academic,” who said, “Historical blackface has never truly ended, and Americans have yet to actively confront their racist past to this day…In fact, minstrel blackface has emerged into even more subtle forms of racism that are now glorified all over the Internet…[Digital blackface] culturally appropriates the language and expressions of black people for entertainment, while dismissing the severity of everyday instances of racism black people encounter, such as police brutality, job discrimination, and educational inequity.”

The great irony of these leftists is that they end up “canceling” the people they claim to be defending.

Jackson concluded, “If you find yourself always reaching for a black face to release your inner sass monster, maybe consider going the extra country mile and pick this nice Taylor Swift GIF instead.”

tenor

So Taylor Swift is taking away a position from a black person.

Somehow this is supposed to be progress.

No wonder CNN is a failing news organization.
