Joe Biden’s mental state is quickly declining.

The media doesn’t even try to blame his gaffes on his childhood stutter anymore.

And Joe Biden made a stunning announcement to reporters that will leave a cold taste in your mouth.

Joe Biden joked to the press and those in attendance at a Monday White House event, prefacing his first remarks following the horrific mass shooting in Nashville with a tone-deaf joke about ice cream.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband. And I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think I’m kidding? I’m not,” Biden told those in attendance.

The room erupted in laughter at his wildly inappropriate joke despite the press at least almost certainly knowing of the tragic news.

Biden then tried to switch gears and call for an “assault” weapons ban.

Biden said, “We’re monitoring the situation really closely…and we have to do more to stop gun violence.  It’s ripping our communities apart, ripping the soul of this nation — ripping at the very soul of the nation.  And we — we have to do more to protect our schools so they aren’t turned into prisons. You know, the shooter in this situation reportedly had two assault weapons and a pistol — two AK-47. So I call on Congress, again, to pass my assault weapons ban. It’s about time that we begin to make some more progress.”

Biden is just spouting gibberish.

The shooter did not have two AK-47s.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was even more irresponsible with her rhetoric.

She said, “How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act to pass the assault weapons ban; to close loopholes in our background check system; or to require the safe storage of guns?”

Weak-kneed RINO politicians have made a habit of responding to recent mass murderers by cutting deals to undermine law-abiding Americans’ rights.

While Mitt Romney types race to offer up their versions of Democrats’ and Gun Control Lobby’s failed “solutions,” when they hear statements like Jean-Pierre’s, most rational Americans are skeptical because they’ve failed time-and-again.

After the Sandy Hook murders, investigators found an opened  gun safe belonging to shooter Adam Lanza’s mother, Nancy Lanza, who was found murdered at the hands of her son, the Hartford Courant reported at the time.

Investigators also reported the school principal Dawn Hochsprung was killed lunging at Lanza – witnesses report, with her hands up,  in an effort to wrestle the murder’s tools away.

Unfortunately the only tools she had were her hands.

A gun in her hands may have stopped him.

Nevertheless, time-and-again establishment media and the politicians who want to grab law-abiding citizens’ guns insist arming potential protectors like Hochsprung wouldn’t work.

But the fact is, where teachers have been armed, it has worked.

Joe Biden has embarrassed himself countless times as President.

And somehow Kamala Harris has been even worse.

Now Biden and Harris are furious after Peter Doocy brought up one issue ignored by most of the media.

The corporate press have pulled out all the stops to prop up the Biden administration.

Stories that are unfavorable get completely ignored, and Biden’s so-called triumphs get celebrated like he won World War II.

For example, the so-called mainstream media trumpeted Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which did the exact opposite.

The press admitted that detail only after the legislation passed.

Now the institutional press is hiding the fact that Biden and Harris’s approval ratings have completely gone in the tank.

Peter Doocy of Fox News reported, “His approval rating is nearing an all-time low, just 38 percent in a new AP survey. Hovering two points above last July’s 36 percent bottom…[Harris’s] approval [is] even worse, just 36 percent approving of the Vice President right now with 53 percent disproving, according to Monmouth. Today the Biden cabinet fanned out to ease fears about the big problems affecting those polls like the health of the banking system.”

Biden has sunk even lower than he did after his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Biden and Harris’s low approval ratings are a huge problem for the Democrats.

Nobody in their party is excited about the prospect of Biden-Harris in 2024.

Biden claims he is running again, much to the dismay of Democrats, who have begun voicing their displeasure more pointedly.

When prominent Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been put on the spot as to whether or not they would support Biden, they have demurred or flat-out punted on the question.

The feedback on Harris is even worse.

Recently, Elizabeth Warren was forced to walk back her statement as to whether or not she would support Harris as Biden’s running mate.

Harris has done absolutely nothing as vice President to build any goodwill.

Among her many cringeworthy episodes, perhaps her lowpoint was explaining the Ukrainian war to a radio host.

She said, “So Ukraine is a country in Europe…It exists next to another country called Russia…Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So basically that’s wrong. And it goes against everything that we stand for.”

Harris also believes it’s charming every time she expresses her love of Venn diagrams and school buses.

If Biden-Harris is the ticket in 2024, the Democrats have a serious problem on their hands.

Then again, if the legacy media continues to circle the wagons they may just get them across the finish line again in 2024 like they did in 2020.

When it comes to revelations about Hunter Biden, nothing normal or healthy ever seems to come out. 

Now a bizarre promise from one reporter just came to light. 

And it seems she vowed to protect him except in this one event.

Apparently, the Washington, D.C. establishment has been protecting Hunter Biden for nearly a decade. 

While it took years for news about the 2020 “laptop from hell” story to be acknowledged by the corporate-controlled media, new information reveals that pulling out all the stops to protect Hunter Biden inside the beltway is an old pattern. 

Clear back in 2015, Joe Biden’s handlers were running interference for Hunter, according to emails recently obtained from the National Archives. 

“Then Vice-President Joe Biden’s Communications Director Kate Bedingfield reassured Hunter Biden’s top lieutenant in 2015 that a damaging story from Bloomberg reporter Margaret Talev about the family’s business dealings in Ukraine would be quashed unless “editors hold a gun to her head,” emails obtained from the National Archives show,” Breitbart News reported. 

Emails from that time reveal how far Bedingfield went to keep Hunter Biden’s discretions from making headlines. 

“Absolutely — we have had two conversations about it — she will only use if her editors put a gun to her head. She absolutely will not do the second thing,” Bedingfield wrote referring to reporter Margaret Talev in an email to Hunter Biden’s business partner Eric Schwerin. 

Apparently, Bloomberg editors did pull out the big guns, presumably figuratively, since an article appeared in the publication the same day.

But the fact that Joe Biden’s communications director would make such a demand—and that a reporter would even entertain the idea of covering up a major story—is stunning. 

Talev has now moved on from Bloomberg to work at Axios where she is managing editor. 

When she isn’t churning out leftist content for Axios, she’s on CNN posturing as a political analyst. 

Meanwhile, Hunter’s partner, Eric Schwerin, is reportedly cooperating with an investigation being conducted by the House GOP. 

Exactly what comes out of those conversations over the next few months should prove interesting. 

Just don’t count on the corporate-controlled media to report on the biggest and most obvious news story around. 

Chances are the media’s reflexive habit to protect Hunter Biden will prove difficult to break—even if many on the Left are eager to ditch Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 Presidential election.
