Donald Trump has been the target of an absurd amount of media attacks.

Every move he makes gets scrutinized and turned into a “scandal.”

And one reporter who interviewed Trump got caught red-handed in a huge lie.

British TV presenter Piers Morgan has long been a controversial figure.

He recently resigned as the host of Good Morning Britain after he called Prince Harry and Meghan Markle liars because they accused the Royal Family of racism during an Oprah Winfrey interview.

Now, Morgan is attempting to drum up views for his latest media venture, and he did so by dishonestly promoting an interview with Donald Trump.

In a 30-second promo, Morgan made it seem as if he flustered Trump so much that he quit the interview early.

But Trump recorded audio of the interview, and he proved that Morgan deceptively edited the clip.

NBC News reported that “according to the recording, which was provided by Trump’s spokesman, the two men thanked each other and laughed at the conclusion of the interview for Talk TV, a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp…Talk TV, which is set to debut Monday, teased the interview — billed as ‘the most explosive interview of the year’ — in a video summary that is dramatized with cinematic music and portrays Trump as being angry about the content of questions Morgan asked…But the audio of the end of the interview appears to tell a different story. The two men laughed and thanked each other, the recording shows. There are no signs of Trump’s storming off set.”

According to Trump, he said he had 20 minutes for the interview, but Morgan went an hour extra and Trump stayed until all of the questions were exhausted.

Morgan then said, “That was a great interview,” to which Trump replied, “Yeah.”

Morgan continued, “Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.”

That’s a far cry from the “explosive” interview promised by the promo.

At that point, Trump said, “Turn the camera off” as they walked out of the room.

Morgan’s attempt to hype the interview backfired; the liberals who were eagerly anticipating Trump losing his cool immediately lost interest.

Trump blasted Morgan after the incident, saying in a statement, “He wanted to make it look like I walked out on the interview when my time limit of 20 minutes went over by an hour…The good news is that the interview was taped by us as a means of keeping him honest.”

When dealing with unscrupulous journalists it clearly pays to have a backup recording in order to document the truth.

The corporate-controlled press has been atrocious for a long time.

And it’s not just conservatives acknowledging it.

Now Jon Stewart ripped the media to shreds for what they did during the Trump era.

Jon Stewart changed the game with his version of The Daily Show, which blended comedy and humor.

Even though Stewart is a liberal, he was at least willing to call out people on his side of the aisle.

But since then, late night comedians have devolved into bad political pundits for the Democrat Party.

Now Stewart is back with a new show on Apple+, and he’s again shown a willingness to dish out punishment to the Left.

During a recent episode of The Problem with Jon Stewart, he took aim at the media, and how they covered Donald Trump, particularly the Russiagate story.

Stewart said, “Unfortunately, if [the media] are the one thing that stand between America and chaos, we are in trouble. Because rarely has there been an institution that has such a distance between its aspirations and its execution. And thus, the problem with the media. The media keeps informing us how incredibly important they are to our survival. Because knowing keeps us free. But when given crucial informational tasks, they instead build us prisons of: what the f*ck are you people talking about?”

Stewart ripped the endless cycle of “bombshell” reports that were ridiculously hedged with “if true.”

He said, “Bombshell. Bombshell, detective has questions. Bombshell, hungry people like food. Bombshell. I also have a question: do you think we are f*cking stupid? That’s the responsible, measured way they handled something they actually knew. And then it started getting weird… There were so many ‘if trues’ in there it was like a high-stakes tarot reading.”

Stewart also added that the press built up the Mueller investigation as if Trump and his entire family were going to be frog-marched out of the White House, then Mueller released his report and it was a nothing-burger.

Stewart explained, “You motherf*ckers spent two years filled with breaking bombshells and urgent explosions and teed up a season finale for the ages. A noose-tightened, closed-walled, family-style jail-gasm. And all we got was a fucking book report that we had to print ourselves. I owe the producers of Lost an apology. This was the worst finale ever.”

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow had to fight tears when she finally reported that the Mueller report did not turn up any evidence of Russian collusion.

Stewart also included a humorous mash-up that nailed the true motivation of the corporate-controlled press.

Stewart is saying what few people on the Left are willing to do.

The so-called “mainstream” media decided to openly become an advocacy group for the DNC, and the country is suffering for it.

Bill Maher is close to being excommunicated from the Left.

He refuses to go along with the groupthink that has taken over the Democrat Party.

And Maher raised one question about Donald Trump and the war in Ukraine that had leftists steaming mad.

The Democrats are twisting themselves in a knot trying to explain why Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine on Joe Biden’s watch and not while Donald Trump was President.

The Left have argued that Trump was doing everything Putin wanted so there was no need, but liberal comedian Bill Maher isn’t buying that line of thinking.

During a recent monologue on his show Real Time with Bill Maher, the host pondered, “Okay, but if Putin thought Trump was really that supportive of him, why didn’t he invade when Trump was in office? It’s at least worth asking that question if you’re not locked into one intransigent thought.”

Maher is right to ask the question that Democrats dismiss.

The idea that Trump was doing Putin’s bidding is completely counter to the facts.

Trump viewed China as America’s chief geopolitical threat, and he didn’t want Russia to cozy up further with China.

That’s why Trump believed it was in America’s best interest not to be unnecessarily belligerent toward Russia.

But Trump was willing to stand up to Russia.

He sanctioned the Russians, supplied Ukraine with arms, bombed 200 Russian mercenaries in Syria, backed out of a nuclear agreement, and threatened to hit Moscow if Putin invaded Ukraine.

Trump also warned Germany not to be reliant on Russian oil, and the German delegation laughed at him.

Now they’re desperately trying to divest from Russian oil after over a decade of foolish investment in green energy.

Putin invaded Georgia during George W. Bush’s Presidency, annexed Crimea when Barack Obama was in office, and now he’s launched a full-scale war with Biden as President.

Putin knew better than to cross Trump.

Meanwhile, during a January press conference, Biden essentially gave Putin the greenlight to invade Ukraine, saying, “I think what you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do, et cetera.”

And not long after Biden’s disastrous “minor incursion” line, Putin took the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.

Maher is at least asking the questions that other liberals won’t because they turn off their brains when they consume a steady diet of spoon-fed propaganda from the so-called “mainstream” media.
