“Hanoi” Jane Fonda’s murder comment followed one startling suggestion on The View

Published

on

Ever since the “Hanoi Jane” days, the media has held up radicals, like Jane Fonda, as examples of the views every American should “accept.”

Now the legacy media and Hollywood have found a new reason to push their darling octogenarian actress down Amerians’ throats after she delivered one dangerous remark.

But Jane Fonda’s recent murder comment followed one startling suggestion on The View.

The Supreme Court’s ruling in the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade unleashed a torrent of rage from the Left.

The Communist group Jane’s Revenge literally called for “A Night of Rage” in response to the ruling.

Democrats have convinced themselves that they’re right, therefore any tactic is on the table, perhaps even “murder.”

That’s what Jane Fonda said during an appearance on The View when she appeared with her 9 to 5 and 80 for Brady co-star Lily Tomlin.

In the midst of a discussion on abortion, Fonda said, “We have experienced many decades now of having agency over our body, of being able to determine when and how many children to have. We know what that feels like, we know what that’s done for our lives. We’re not going back. I don’t care what the laws are! We’re not going back.”

That prompted co-host Sunny Hostin to say, “She probably will get a Nobel Prize.”

Ironically, Hostin is a Catholic who admitted that she would never get an abortion under any circumstances—even rape—yet she was gleeful over Fonda’s abortion stance.

The Nobel Prize suggestion was disturbing enough for many viewers.

But it only got worse from there.

Hostin continued, “Besides marching and protesting, what else do you suggest?”

Fonda then said with a deadpan delivery and vacant eyes, “Well, I’ve thought of murder.”

Tomlin couldn’t hear what she said, so Fonda repeated, “Murder.”

Co-host Joy Behar quickly went into damage control mode and said, “She’s just kidding … They’ll pick up on that and just run with it. She’s just kidding.”

But many on the Left are not kidding.

There is no line they won’t cross when they have determined themselves to be on the “right side of history.”

Since the Dobbs decision, dozens of churches and crisis pregnancy centers have been firebombed, and one deranged leftist was arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home.

He told police that he traveled to Kavanaugh’s home to assassinate him.

In response to the incident, Fonda wrote in a statement, “While women’s reproductive rights are a very serious issue and extremely important to me, my comment on The View was obviously made in jest…My body language and tone made it clear to those in the room – and to anyone watching – that I was using hyperbole to make a point…Women across the country are facing real threats when it comes to our bodies, and people lose faith in our mission to protect women when others choose to focus on tangential issues and passing jokes instead of the actual problem at hand.”

Each state now gets to determine its own abortion laws, which is how it was before Roe was decided.

But that’s not enough for the media elites and radicals like Jane Fonda.

CNN just reached peak “woke” stupidity with a wild claim of racism

The Left have let the radicals loose on society.

And they are spreading chaos wherever they go.

Now CNN just reached peak “woke” stupidity with a wild claim of racism.

The Left are constantly pouring cultural poison into the American mainstream.

The latest goofy idea that is being given a trial run is a concept called “digital blackface,” which is when someone who’s white uses a nonwhite gif or meme when sending a text message or social media post.

Last year, Women’s Health tried to normalize the idiotic concept, and now CNN has picked up the topic.

CNN tracked down author and cultural critic Lauren Michele Jackson, who wrote an essay on the very, very serious problem of digital blackface.

Jackson said that digital blackface “includes displays of emotion stereotyped as excessive: so happy, so sassy, so ghetto, so loud…our dial is on 10 all the time — rarely are black characters afforded subtle traits or feelings.”

It didn’t stop there.

CNN reported that “critics say digital blackface is wrong because it’s a modern-day repackaging of minstrel shows, a racist form of entertainment popular in the 19th century.”

So posting a humorous gif is now equivalent to a minstrel show.

This is what happens when students go six figures into debt for a worthless critical studies degree.

They are experts in nonsense.

Jackson added, “We are your sass, your nonchalance, your fury, your delight, your annoyance, your happy dance, your diva, your shade, your ‘yaas’ moments…The weight of reaction GIFing, period, rests on our shoulders.”

The civil rights movement was composed of serious people.

Today activists like Jackson pale in comparison.

Worse, their terrible ideas like “digital blackface” go largely unchallenged by the mainstream media.

CNN quoted Erinn Wong, another “academic,” who said, “Historical blackface has never truly ended, and Americans have yet to actively confront their racist past to this day…In fact, minstrel blackface has emerged into even more subtle forms of racism that are now glorified all over the Internet…[Digital blackface] culturally appropriates the language and expressions of black people for entertainment, while dismissing the severity of everyday instances of racism black people encounter, such as police brutality, job discrimination, and educational inequity.”

The great irony of these leftists is that they end up “canceling” the people they claim to be defending.

Jackson concluded, “If you find yourself always reaching for a black face to release your inner sass monster, maybe consider going the extra country mile and pick this nice Taylor Swift GIF instead.”

tenor

So Taylor Swift is taking away a position from a black person.

Somehow this is supposed to be progress.

No wonder CNN is a failing news organization.

Megyn Kelly slams ESPN for a politically correct story that’s wrong in every way possible

Published

As part of the larger Disney Company family ESPN is held to certain left-leaning standards.

Now Megyn Kelly is absolutely slamming the network.

And it’s all over a politically correct story getting women fired up.

In only six years Hollywood’s #MeToo movement has been pushed to the side.

Now the transgender agenda is taking over.

And recently, part of an ESPN series for Women’s History Month had former Fox News host Megyn Kelly saying “OH HELL NO!”

Kelly added that commentary as she shared a post written by former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines taking a swipe at ESPN over honoring a biological male for Women’s History Month.

Gaines had responded to the article on Twitter writing, “Lia Thomas is not a brave, courageous woman who EARNED a national title.”

“He is an arrogant, cheat who STOLE a national title from a hardworking, deserving woman,” she added.

She’d know since she was that woman.

Gaines is a 12-time All-American swimmer who has turned into a crusader for women’s sports as the transgender movement reshapes women’s competitive athletics worldwide.

She competed against Thomas in the 200-freestyle final of the NCAA championships after the transgendered swimmer switched from competing on men’s teams to competing against women.

That’s a race Gaines says she ultimately lost to political posturing.

“We go behind the awards podium where they hand out the trophies and you’re kind of paraded out. The NCAA official looks at me and says great job. You guys tied, we only have one trophy and we’re gonna give to Lia. And so I press him, and I say okay can I ask you why you’re giving this trophy to Lia and he said well for photo purposes, Lia has to have it,” Gaines explained in an interview with the Washington Examiner earlier this year.

“In that moment I felt like we as a women were being mocked,” she added. “We were being reduced to a photo op for to validate the feelings of and the identity of a man.”

Before that point, Gaines says she expected someone would stand up for female athletes.

“I thought surely there would be someone, whether that be a coach, or another swimmer, or someone within the NCAA, I thought surely someone would stick up for us,” Gaines told reporter Amy DeLaura. “That’s when I realized it’s my duty as a female athlete who experienced this injustice to really use my voice and my platform to advocate for those female athletes who are emotionally blackmailed and gaslit into silence.”

Sadly, Megyn Kelly is one of very few high-profile members of the press willing to help Gaines draw attention to what’s happening to women athletes.

Horrifying death of this flight attendant is being ignored by the establishment media

Published

The “woke” Left are on a crusade.

They don’t care at all about collateral damage.

Now the horrifying death of this flight attendant is being ignored by the establishment media.

Over the past several years, the Left have been pushing transgenderism relentlessly.

The message has moved from tolerance to full-blown compliance and indoctrination of the young.

They claim that people experiencing gender dysphoria, the feeling of being trapped in the wrong body, are at higher risk of suicide—a shockingly high rate of around 40%—due to a lack of acceptance by broader society.

But what the activists don’t mention is that gender dysphoria and suicidal ideation do not go away after transition.

And United flight attendant Kayleigh Scott, born Kyle Scott, tragically committed suicide.

Back in 2020, Scott was featured in a United Airlines commercial.

Despite society being far more accepting, the suicide rate among transgender individuals remains high.

Scott wrote in a harrowing Instagram post, “As I take my final breaths and exit this living earth, I would like to apologize to everyone I let down. I am so sorry I could not be better…To those that I love, I am sorry I could not be stronger. To those that gave me their everything, I am sorry my effort was not reciprocated…Please understand that me leaving is not a reflection of you, but the result of my own inability to turn myself for the better. To Ashley, Cynthia, Regine & Sophia. I am so sorry. Please remember me for the good memories we have shared, and never for my downfall. I will see you all again on the other side.”

The tragic reality of Scott’s death is that indulging the transgender activists has not made much of a dent in suicide rates, but the bigger problem is that they are roping in young and impressionable kids into an ideology that leads to a greater chance of emotional and psychological misery.

Jazz Jennings, who literally became the poster child for early-life transition as the subject of a reality show on TLC, has since voiced regret about the entire medical transition process.

Jennings, who was born male, has to dilate a “neo-vagina” daily to prevent the “cavity” from healing.

The barbarism that’s being packaged as compassion is truly astonishing.
