Hollywood and the Democrat Party go hand in hand.

The Left use celebrities to push the policy goals of the Democrats.

And Karine Jean-Pierre brought Hollywood stars to the briefing room, but one reporter shut down the charade.

Democrat administrations routinely rope in celebrities to burnish the image of Democrat politicians.

Joe Biden has leaned heavily on using entertainers to fill in for his lack of charisma and vitality.

Recently, the cast of the Apple+ comedy Ted Lasso showed up to a White House press briefing to discuss mental health, which is strange.

Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis is not an expert on mental health, and he doesn’t even play one on TV.

Nevertheless, the dog and pony show was interrupted by White House correspondent Simon Ateba, who has become a major gadfly for Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Ateba, who represents Top News Africa, took Jean-Pierre to task for refusing to answer his questions.

Jean-Pierre, clearly embarrassed to spar with Ateba in front of the Ted Lasso cast, tried to defuse the situation by saying, “We’re not doing this.”

Ateba said, “This is the U.S. This is not China. This is not Russia. What you’re doing is not right…What you are doing is you’re making a mockery of the First Amendment. It’s been seven months you’ve not called on me.”

Jean-Pierre whined, “What has just occurred this last 10 or 15 minutes is unacceptable. It is unacceptable. So we are going to either continue the briefing, or we can just end the briefing right here.”

Ateba appears to have rankled all the right people, and he is even taking legal action against the White House Correspondents’ Association for excluding him.

He wrote, “I have decided to take legal action against the White House Correspondents Association since they made false claims against me and my company and did not abide by their own membership guidelines. From now on, I will let my lawyer talk about the case but I will fight like hell because as they sit in the briefing room collecting salaries, they don’t know there are people like me who build companies from scratch. Pray for me.”

The press corps is one giant club, and Ateba is not in it.

Further proof of that occurred when Associated Press reporter Zeke Miller apologized for Ateba’s “unacceptable” behavior.

He said, “I just want to express our apologies in the press corps to the folks watching at home for the display we saw earlier.  Our responsibility is to them. We’re here to ask questions on their behalf, to hold their government accountable because they can’t all be here. You know, this isn’t about us.”

It’s impossible to imagine a reporter apologizing on behalf of Jim Acosta while he attempted to monopolize multiple press briefings when Donald Trump was president.

Ateba got in the way of the Democrats’ Ted Lasso spectacle, and they were furious.

No First Son’s drama has ever provided the legacy media with as much fodder as Hunter Biden’s has.

But now Hunter really has their blood up.

Because this Hunter Biden confrontation finally got the legacy news networks interested in the First Son’s drama.

 When a bombshell report came out about a laptop containing all kinds of compromising information on Hunter Biden—and by extension Joe Biden—members of the corporate-controlled media, including legacy broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC), circled their wagons to protect the Democrat in 2020’s Presidential election. 

The story was effectively suppressed enough to help get Joe Biden elected with one poll showing 17% of those who voted for him would not if they had known about details regarding Hunter Biden’s sketchy business deals. 

While major outlets have been forced to admit that the Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” story is accurate, they’re still doing their best to prop up the Biden family despite evidence Hunter Biden’s “business deals” apparently revolved around selling access to his politically connected father.

 Their latest move is to cheer on Hunter Biden’s lawsuit against a Delaware computer repair shop owner.

The shop owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, says Hunter Biden dropped of three MacBook laptops for repair. 

Only one could be salvaged, but 90 days later Hunter Biden still hadn’t returned to pick up his computer. 

Since Isaac apparently wasn’t provided with correct contact information when Hunter dropped off the computers—no surprise since the First Son was clearly drunk at the time—he searched for email addresses on the computer in hopes of getting in touch with the owner. 

And he found way more than he bargained for. 

Recognizing the importance to national security, Isaac contacted the FBI then eventually members of Congress and others to ensure the laptop, which amounted to a landmine worth of evidence against the Biden Family, was being taken seriously. 

Now, Isaac is being sued by Hunter Biden for “defamation”—a charge that shouldn’t have a chance of standing considering that the law is always supposed to side with truth. 

The latest filing in that lawsuit brought with it one phenomenal “pants of fire” moment with ABC’s Lucien Bruggeman reporting that Hunter Biden is taking an “increasingly offensive legal tack” in a case that “until recently…largely avoided public confrontations about his business dealings.”

Bruggeman went on to falsely claim that the computer shop owner “emerged as a central figure in the drama surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop in the waning days of the 2020 Presidential campaign, when images, emails, and text messages allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden emerged in public and galvanized the national conversation as voters took to the polls.”

Of course, that isn’t even close to true. 

The corporate-controlled media studiously ignored the laptop story in late 2020 even as their friends in Big Tech aggressively censored anyone who tried to share it. 

Bruggeman also noted that “ABC News has not reviewed nor verified the contents of the laptop or hard drive.”

That last statement was the most truthful part of the whole article. 

Other networks, including CBS and NBC, have finally admitted that the story about Hunter Biden’s laptop published by the New York Post in 2020 was legitimate. 

But ABC News remains loyal to the Biden regime acting more like the President’s press office rather than a legitimate news organization.

And the more supposed journalists choose to align themselves with the crooked First Son, the more likely they’ll go down with him in disgrace.

But all that changed when Joe Biden moved into the Oval Office.

And Karine Jean-Pierre exposed all of them when she took the bait on a jaw-dropping media set up against Fox News.

It’s no secret the Biden regime would love to have journalists who ask inconvenient questions simply disappear from the White House Press Corps. 

So, when one radio host made a tantalizing suggestion, Karine Jean-Pierre indulged in the ultimate leftist Fox News fantasy and left reporters slack-jawed in the process.

Leftist Sirius XM radio host Dean Obeidallah likes to crack himself up by proposing elaborate and outrageous schemes. 

Back in early 2016 he constantly mocked Donald Trump, setting the background of his twitter page with an image of the businessman-turned elected official with a clown face painted on. 

Along with questioning whether Trump was human or not, Obeidallah went as far as asking, “Can we swap Trump for El Chapo?”

Former cartel head El Chapo had recently been named “public enemy number one” by the city of Chicago and was deemed “the world’s most powerful drug trafficker” by Forbes Magazine.

The incarcerated drug lord admitted “I killed two or three thousand” according to the New York Daily News. 

But Obeidallah had no qualms comparing him to a successful businessman who set out to drain the Washington, D.C., Swamp. 

Now the leftist radio host is targeting Fox News with an elaborate plan to pull the most successful cable news network off the air. 

He pitched his idea to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre during a White House briefing. 

“Look, the FCC the way the law is right now, it does not cover cable news. We all know that. Broadcast news, though. It does. It, it’s called distortion,” Obeidallah pointed out. “And it has to be you have to show that they said something false on purpose they knew was false and they could be sanctioned. They can lose their license on a network. It doesn’t apply to cable.”

He then went on to ask if it would be possible to expand the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) power to include cable news channels for the sole purpose of allowing the Biden regime to take Fox News off the air. 

While she had to admit there’s no way that’s going to happen, Jean-Pierre did seem to relish the idea of wielding power that would allow her to censor her opposition from the press. 

“I have to be careful. FCC is an independent agency, so we need to be careful here. But I get your point,” she said. 

“You know, look, I think everybody has a responsibility, if you call yourself a news organization, to tell the truth, you know, and I mean, that’s probably as far as I can go,” the Press Secretary added. “I think when you ask me about Fox, and I think that’s the question that I got on MSNBC with Alex was close enough to that.”

Earlier, MSNBC’s Alex Wagner had asked if the Biden administration considers Fox News a news organization. 

That resulted in an exchange that concluded with a grinning Wagner saying, “So, I’m gonna say that sort of sounds like the White House doesn’t think Fox is a news organization, but we gotta leave it there.”

Addressing Obeidallah’s question, Jean-Pierre went on to take a shot at Tucker Carlson. 

“The best way that I can answer it is even Fox News leadership, in their depositions say, as we as I was being asked about the Tucker Carlson show, that it’s not news or truthful,” Jean-Pierre said. “And I think that tells you everything that you need to know.” 

While little of her jumbled statement made any sense at all, one thing is clear: the Biden regime would love to shut down the biggest network with journalists who dare to push back against their leftist agenda.
