MSNBC is working overtime to defend the failing Biden administration.
They’re lashing out at anyone willing to report the truth, with host Mehdi Hasan accusing Tucker Carlson of spreading “great replacement theory.”
Now another top MSNBC host just launched into a vicious tirade against Carlson that you won’t believe.
Far-left MSNBC host Chris Hayes accused Fox News host Tucker Carlson of being a white nationalist because of his views on immigration.
The establishment decided that hawkish border policy was racist, so that’s become the position of the Democratic Party and the corporate-controlled press by extension.
However, Democrats used to be even more hawkish than Republicans on illegal immigration not that long ago.
Hayes began his baseless screed by saying:
“Ever since there have been immigrants coming to America in large numbers, there have been bigots and racists who did not want them. One consistent argument those bigots and racists have made is that the newcomers would overrun the people who were already here. This is really old standard stuff…The fundamental message of these bigots across time, is that these bad other dirty people, uncivilized, different than us will overrun and replace us, the good pure American…Here’s the former Grand Wizard of the KKK, David Duke making that argument, as well as an updated version you may have heard very recently.”
Hayes then goes to play out-of-context clips of Carlson and Duke.
But Hayes ignored the fact that it was labor leader Cesar Chavez and his acolytes who used to be against illegal aliens at the border because he did not want them undercutting labor bargaining power.
Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson once picketed against illegal immigration at the border.
In Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address, he sounded just as stern as Donald Trump regarding border enforcement.
Hillary Clinton, Dianne Feinstein, and a host of other Democrats have been equally hawkish on immigration through the years.
Even Bernie Sanders said he was against illegal immigration because it was a “Koch Brothers proposal.”
Democrats and Chamber of Commerce Republicans have formed an establishment “consensus” on immigration, and entities like MSNBC enforce the strict Overton Window.
At a different point of Hayes’s rant, he said it was a lie that illegal immigration helps the Democrats.
First, illegal aliens tend to cluster in blue areas, so Democrats get more representation in Congress.
That’s why Democrats wanted the citizenship question excluded from the U.S. Census.
Naturalized citizens and U.S.-born children of immigrants vote Democrat 80% of the time.
Over the course of multiple generations, that number evens out, but there hasn’t been any pause on immigration for proper assimilation to take place.
Worse yet, leftists encourage aliens not to assimilate because of the failed idea of multiculturalism.
Hayes is lying about the immigration debate in order to frame it as good versus evil.
He’s doing the exact thing he’s accusing Carlson of doing.
