A special ed teacher announced her own armed black militia on camera.
She found out there were consequences the same night the video surfaced.
Parents are outraged and it is not what she did but the threat that came with it that has to be treated like the crime.
Daily Told Followers to Grab Guns and Rob White People
Kenisha Daily is reportedly the woman in the video who works as a special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary in the Madera Unified School District, just outside Fresno.
Over the weekend she posted a string of videos to her personal social media accounts.
In one video, obtained and aired by ABC30 KFSN, she loads a pistol and a shotgun for the camera.
"Starting today, I'm starting a black militia," Daily said.
"So if you're black, if you want to shoot some guns, come find me."
Then she told her followers exactly what the guns were for.
"We're going to rob some white people," she said.
This was not a joke buried in a private group chat.
This was a public recruitment pitch from a woman entrusted with special-needs children, posted for anyone to see.
A Restraining Order Followed but Charges Have Not
Concerned followers reported the videos to the district Saturday night.
Madera Unified moved fast, contacting Fresno authorities the same night.
Police conducted a home visit and a court granted a temporary restraining order against Daily.
That order is a civil safeguard, not a criminal charge.
The district also ran an emergency safety review at Lincoln Elementary and added extra security on campus.
Daily has been placed on leave while law enforcement investigates.
District officials say they are working with other agencies on longer-term safety measures.
None of those measures answer whether Daily will ever face a criminal charge.
"Our Board of Trustees adamantly believes that students, families, and staff all deserve a safe and welcoming school environment," the district said in a statement.
"Furthermore, we believe that no staff member has the right to compromise others' sense of safety."
Notice what is missing from that statement.
No criminal charges have been reported as of this writing, days after a public employee announced an armed plan to target people by race.

Why Race Based Threats Get Investigated Instead of Prosecuted
Armed threats organized around race are not new in this country.
The group calling itself NFAC built one of the largest armed black militias in modern history starting in 2020.
It still took federal investigators more than a year to move against that group's own founder.
Daily did not need years of buildup.
She put the guns and the threat on video herself, in one weekend.
The law already has a name for what she did.
Courts have long recognized a category of speech called a true threat, a serious statement of intent to commit violence against a specific person or group that gets zero First Amendment protection.
Daily did not share a political opinion about white people.
She announced an armed plan to rob them, on camera, with the weapons in her hands.
Compare that to how fast other teachers have lost their jobs for words alone.
School districts across the country fired teachers "effective immediately" over social media posts about Charlie Kirk's death last year, some within days of the posts surfacing.
Those teachers did not load a shotgun on camera or name a group of people to target with it.
Daily is still drawing a paycheck from Madera Unified while investigators take their time.
Ask yourself whether a white teacher who announced an armed militia to rob black families would still just be on leave five days later.
The FBI's own definition of a hate crime covers exactly what Daily put on video, a crime motivated by bias against a person's race.
Fresno police and prosecutors now have to decide whether her race, or theirs, changes the answer.
