A CNN reporter made an insane statement during one press briefing

Published

on

The corporate-controlled press corps barely challenges the Biden administration.

It’s a far cry from the bloodsport that was the White House briefing under Donald Trump.

And a CNN reporter made an insane statement during one press briefing.

Now that a Democrat is back in the White house, the press briefing has turned back into a mutual admiration society.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki gets lobbed one softball after another.

With Fox News’s Peter Doocy not in the briefing, the “tough” question came from April Ryan.

The CNN correspondent tried to attack Joe Biden from his Left flank and asked about voting rights being curtailed, which is absurd.

Ryan asked:

“Is there a concern by the Democratic base for the Democratic base that feels that he became President standing on these pillars and now they’re in jeopardy? Is there concern by this White House about what the Democratic base is feeling as they see voting rights stalled, as they see policing stalled, as they see the issue of reparations not moving as fast as they want and other issues?”

In other words: Why isn’t Biden going Left enough, fast enough?

First, voting rights are not being stalled.

The Democrat fear-mongering over voting rights is ridiculous.

Republican legislatures have passed bills that protect election integrity by requiring voter ID, and sundowning emergency voting exceptions due to COVID-19.

For all intents and purposes, the pandemic is over, so there is no need for universal mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and unsecured ballot drop boxes.

Democrats seem determined to make voter security as porous as possible for baffling reasons.

Next, Ryan’s question about policing is ambiguous.

Presumably she means policing reform, which is a catch-all phrase that means more federal control over local police departments.

Democrats are simultaneously running away from “defund the police” rhetoric – Psaki and other prominent Democrats have hilariously tried to accuse the Republicans of defunding the police.

Their rationale is that Republicans didn’t agree to ridiculous, pork-laden spending bills.

This is a common tactic of the Left.

Finally, the conservation around reparations is meant to be nothing but divisive.

Every few years, the debate around reparations roils to no avail.

Logistics of paying reparations aside, that would destroy any chance for unity in the country.

April Ryan is an example of an activist masquerading as a journalist.

CNN and other so-called “mainstream” outlets are chock-full of them.

CNN’s Jake Tapper got a reality check about Trump from the last place he ever expected

Published

on

CNN host Jake Tapper suffers from one of the worst cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome in all of the corporate-controlled media.

The former Democrat Party campaign operative never makes an effort to hide his bias against Trump.

And CNN’s Jake Tapper got a reality check about Trump from the last place he ever expected.

On his Sunday State of the Union show, Tapper interviewed former Daily Show host Jon Stewart.

Stewart – who once single-handedly ended the long running CNN program Crossfire with an on-air takedown of hosts Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala – attacked Tapper and the media’s singular focus on Donald Trump.

“I think we make a mistake focusing this all on Donald Trump as though he’s, I don’t know, Magneto and some incredible supervillain that has changed the very nature and temperature of the United States,” Stewart began. “He’s just been an effective vessel.”

Stewart noted the media needed to focus on the incentive structure in American politics as well as the problems in the country that led the way for the people to reject the establishment in both parties and turn to Trump.

“[Trump’s] not singing new songs. He’s maybe singing them a little better than [Barry] Goldwater, but I think it’s a mistake to focus it all on this one individual, and not to focus it more on the idea that power is its own reward whether it be in the financial industry or government,” Stewart added.

Stewart also took aim at the narrative pushed by CNN and other corporate-controlled media entities that only the Republican Party is descending into authoritarianism, noting that Democrats also commit tyrannical acts.

“I don’t know that autocracy is purely the domain of Donald Trump. I think that we all have a bit of a tendency to grant amnesty to people that are doing things that we would prefer, even if that means that they’re slightly undemocratic,” Stewart added.

The example that immediately stood out of Democrats backsliding into autocracy was Joe Biden’s Justice Department releasing a memo ordering the FBI to monitor school board meetings and work with local officials to create an enemies list of parents who protest mask mandates and Critical Race Theory in their children’s schools.

In many ways, the critique Stewart offered of the corporate-controlled media is one that Tucker Carlson also delivered.

Carlson explained that he never focused his show on Donald Trump because all politicians are transitory figures and what interested Carlson were the underlying conditions in the country that politicians before Trump ignored.

CNN expects all hosts and guests to readily read from the script about how Donald Trump is the biggest threat to democracy the country ever faced.

But both Jon Stewart and Tucker Carlson reject that line of thinking as simplistic and wrong.

A Hollywood actor surprised everyone with this takedown of CNN

Published

on

Hollywood actors are some of the most reliable left-wing lunatics in America.

Sometimes even Hollywood leftists turn on their allies.

But a Hollywood actor surprised everyone with this takedown of CNN.

Canadian actor Bryan Cox plays the patriarch of the Roy family on HBO’s popular TV show Succession.

Succession is a portrayal of Murdoch-like family that owns a right-wing cable news network in America and the shows follows the greed and betrayals of the family members as they fight to be the next in line to take over the family media empire when Cox’s character eventually passes away.

Cox promoted the third season premiere in an interview on CNBC where Cox discussed the state of the American media.

The Canadian actor – who identifies politically as a socialist – told CNBC that even though he watched CNN, the network sometimes bored him because it was the same anti-Trump story over and over again without any nuance.

“What’s so interesting about America is it’s so polarized, and yet it doesn’t, you know like, CNN’s clearly the same story again and again and again and again and again, and I love CNN because I’m fairly left-wing so I go to it,” Cox stated.

Cox then revealed that he understood CNN’s business model as appealing to anti-Trump viewers before calling Fox News “the devil.”

“But then I get, everybody’s, it’s the same number because it’s in opposition, quite rightly,” he added. “And then, Fox News,” Cox explained, “I don’t even go there, because that’s, like, the devil.”

CNN never describes itself as a political opposition network.

Executives, anchors and guests all describe CNN as a “facts first” news operation.

But CNN’s viewers know what is really going on and Cox gave away the game by explaining that he watched CNN because it appealed to his left-wing political views and served as the opposition to Donald Trump.

A CNN host asked one question that instantly blew up in his face

Published

on

CNN loves to falsely claim it’s a news network with no political leanings.

That baseless claim gets exposed on a laughably regular basis.

And a CNN host asked one question that instantly blew up in his face.

Brian Stelter is CNN’s so-called “chief media correspondent.”

In reality, Stelter’s job consists of complaining about what Tucker Carlson says on Fox News every night and instructing other journalists on how to infuse their coverage of Republicans with more bias.

Stelter’s absurdly named Reliable Sources show consists of left-wing reporters agreeing with one another how Donald Trump is a fascist threat to democracy and that Fox News poisons America.

This past Sunday, Stelter wondered why there isn’t a New York Times of the Right.

“Why do they employ so few reporters and so many commentators and columnists and opinion writers? Why aren’t there massive American newsrooms dedicated to journalism from a conservative point of view? A reality-based conservative point of view? Why isn’t there a New York Times of the right? Why doesn’t it exist? Because the audience doesn’t want that? Or is it that the audience isn’t being given a chance to support it?” Stelter asked.

Stelter immediately received an answer that he was not expecting.

Critics pointed out that in the last election the New York Post broke the bombshell story about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop containing evidence of corrupt foreign business dealings that potentially involve Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden is now under criminal investigation for these business arrangements with companies in Ukraine and Communist China.

When the Post broke this story, Stelter did not have any reporters from the Post on his show.

Instead, Stelter dismissed the Post’s accurate and reality-based reporting as “Russian disinformation” and sat in silence as Twitter locked the Post out of its account and Facebook censored the story.

There is plenty of original reporting in conservative media.

It was conservative media that debunked the Russian collusion hoax.

But there will never be a “New York Times of the Right” because leftists in the corporate-controlled media will never treat any entity as legitimate that opposes and critiques the pro-Democrat Party narrative of the legacy press.
